Share food log diaries
Currently my spouse and I are able to copy each others food logs in my fitness pal. We take turns meal prepping and planning meals . We have no switched yet mainly to this reason of not being able to see each others food logs and copy

Don’t go directly to photo when trying to enter a meal.
Do no go directly to photo when entering a meal. Give the option to take a photo or scan a label instead of going directly to photo.

Be able to add our own custom meal with macros(calories, protein, carbs, fats)
If you’re adding your custom meal and corresponding macros for the same, then the tracker should be able to pick those macros numbers and update the meal tracker automatically.
For example,
If i add my custom meal, say cinnamon cereal with the macros
Calories: 285
Protein: 22.5g, Carbs: 31g, Fats: 13.5g;
Then the nutrition tracker should pick those numbers and update it as follows,
Protein: 165 - 22.5 = 142.5 (remaining), and so on.6 votes -
Fix interface for adding meals to previous day
Either post the meal to the day I'm viewing when I click add meal, or change the time picker to a time and date picker. Currently I have to add the meal to today then copy it to the correct day (Android app)

Need a guide other then my trainer to help me learn the tracking App
I am having difficulty learning how to use the tracking on the meal, plan, part of the app for my macros. It would help so much if there was a user friendly guide to help learn how to meal track! It is taking too much time for me to learn by trial and error, or even plugging it in premeal

Accurate Macros for Custom Foods
There should be the ability to put in ACCURATE macros for custom foods. I can’t put 1.3g so I have to round up to 2g or down to 1g.

Different metric units and be able to enter Different portion sizes
Different metric units eg ml , gm, kg

Option to just add calories instead of syncing another app! Or simply a tick to say you've had the calories for the day
I don't use myfitnesspal so currently can't tick off or add what calories I've had for the day! Would love a way to do this on the app - unless I've missed the option somehow. My PT gives me my calorie count but I'm just unable to tick it off or say how I've done without going off app!

When I scan the barcode for items at a supermarket in Australia, a lot of items don't come up.

Ability to find meals with certain ingredients.
I like mushrooms. There's no quick way to filter out recipes with portobello mushrooms. Please add mushrooms as ingredients for recipes & meals

Have each meal auto as “snack”
When we go to enter a meal, it should divert to “snack” right away so we don’t have to change it, this saves us a step if we’ve already logged our breakfast it still pops up “breakfast” and you you have to change it to snack.
Im usually in a hurry when I’m logging my meals so this can be irritating if it’s doing this every meal.

Eg: I ate half an apple. There was only 1 unit of apple in the database.

Add a link to be able to see daily food intake macros by food
It would be helpful to be able to have a link to go to where you can see the macros for the daily food you eat so you can quickly see what specific foods you may need to add or reduce per fat, protein and/or carbs.

Please make food tracker faster
The food tracker is painfully slow in loading. That's my only complaint.

Add a section to each meal where vitamins and supplements can be tracked. The kind and if you took it.
Just an area to add which supplements I took with each meal so my trainer can see without having to go find my supp plan. And also for visibility for myself to see that I took everything I was supposed to at the correct time.

I'd like to be able to search for things by date via a calendar, rather than scrolling endlessly.

Use vision AI to identify the food you ate from photo taken.
I hate logging everything. Why not use computer vision (AI) to detect the food you have from the photo you take, then add or adjust the caloric intake.

Maintain Measurement on Recent Foods
In the list of Recent Foods, keep it listed holding the same amount used last time - eg. 40g of Oats instead of the default 1 cup of Oats, etc.
