Option to change ingredients in the Recipe Library recipes.
It would be great if the current recipes provided in the app allowed us to swap out ingredients instead of having to create a whole new recipe. I often double the protein in the recipes from the recipe library and have to create my own recipe. It would be so much easier and less time consuming if we are able to swap out ingredients.

List ALL ingredients in the recipes, not just in the Instructions.
Two days in a row now I was in the process of preparing a recipe, and got to were the instructions said to add the quinoa. But quinoa wasn’t even listed in the ingredients. That’s a significant omission. I’m guessing it might be because I chose the low carb option, but how would I know? There’s no legend to understanding recipe modifications.

Ability to exclude foods like alfalfa sprouts and bean sprouts and things like kale.
The ability to exclude foods like bean sprouts, alfalfa, kale, and other so-called healthy alternatives that I personally do not like the taste of.
Also the ability to filter meal suggestions by cost. With the $140 a month for this service and the cost of food on top of that, I'm questioning whether I can even afford this with my budget. Personally I'm on food stamps. I know a lot of overweight people are. I'm not rich, I don't have a high paying job, I struggle to make ends meet before I found this app60 votes -
Dictate food ingredients and their measurements
Dictate a food item and the measurement, ex. “50 grams of carrots” and have the app suggest the closest item and then u can add it to a meal or recipe.

Printable Recipes
provide the functionality to be able to print a recipe. It’s a little difficult to follow a recipe from a small mobile phone.

Turn off meal pictures and day of meal
Every time in the meal I have to click skip
Photo. I want to turn that off. Also if I am on another day and click add meal activity it always assigns it to the current day vs the day I am viewing.49 votes -
Have a Rating System for Recipes
First have a way to rate the recipes someone has tried and really likes or tries and really doesn’t ever want to try again. But the ratings can be for their own personal use (keep private) or public. Thumbs up or down or one to five stars is pretty common. Second's if the rating is public, Than a why this rating should be added. This needs to be a short fill in the blank. “Tastes awful, Delicious, So Easy, Too many Ingredients, No Flavor, New Favorite.”

Deleting food off the (add a meal) food list
We need to be able to delete food off our "add a meal" food list. The"adds a meal" food list is sooooo long, and we want to be able to clean this list up.
THIS IS NOT ABOUT deleting food off our "logged" food by swiping left.

Embed/upload a pdf document meal plan
Have a back up pdf meal plan users can revert to if their recipes don’t appear on the particular day or within the 7 day time frame to allow for meal prep and grab and go when the meal comes up

Consistency in Recipes
I’m noticing that your recipes have ingredients in the instructions that don’t fall in the ingredients list. For example on a smoothie bowl recipe, it talks about topping with chia seeds, but no measurement is given in the ingredient list for these. Several recipes are like this. Also, use consistent measurements. How many g, oz, c of potato instead of “1/2 a medium…”? I want to make sure what I’m eating is what I’m tracking.

Be able to save favorite recipes in a personal list within the app
The ability to move your favorite recipes onto a personal list within the app would be very helpful

Use more common ingredients.
I’m all for trying new things, but many of the recipes list items that I have either never heard of or can only be found a specialty stores. I live in the boondocks, so it’s quite a haul for me to find certain items.

It would be nice to have an option to add a portion of the amount eaten when logging in. Like I eat sometimes half of the portion.
It would also be nice to like or favorite the ones we like from the set menus

Replace tofu with something else.
I don’t like tofu and it’s very hard to find where I live. I need a sub substitute.

See full day protein fats and carbs
When switching a meal allow to see the total break down not only 1 meal at a time.
This way if u want to switch it would be easier to switch in and out meanwhile hitting targets and making sure you are on track to hit your goals.1 vote -

Groceries for Next Week
There are a lot of recipes that call for things I don’t always have on hand. I don’t have time to shop every day, but if I could load my grocery list a week ahead, I’d be more likely to stick to a menu. Right now I’m having to look for a menu swap for what I have on hand. That’s not working out well. I’m either not eating at all, or stuck with what’s handy. If I can see the week ahead, I can plan ahead and generate a grocery list to make meals for my whole family.
