This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  2. Pool length at location available for workouts

    Have the pool length for each location in the app so we know how many laps for a certain distance. Can’t program AppleWatch without this info, and nearly all the time front desk staff don’t know.

  4. In app suggested work out routines for members who prefer to self-train.

    In app suggested work out routines for members who prefer to self-train. Perhaps a quick quiz to enter level of difficulty and experience, and suggest weekly body weight routines, basic equipment routines, and maybe include gym equipment routines based on available machines in the location the member works out.

  5. Workout forms & positioning GIFs or small Vids

    Visual demonstration on ‘right forms and positioning’ of workouts (by muscle groups areas). Perhaps a little GIF or a 15 secs video or animated vid of the right form and positioning of workout. This solves problems for a lot of people who just use the equipment in the incorrect forms, that may cause muscle injury etc. A solution where people could search for a particular workout or by muscle group and learn from the little vid how to perform the exercise the right way.

  7. Leave workout without “Save” and ending the workout.

    When I’m tracking a workout and want to multitask in the app (like remembering to log my food from earlier while resting between sets), we currently have to hit “Save” to exit the workout. This brings you to the intensity rating of the e workout and tracks how long it took… but I’m not done yet! Would like to be able to exit and come back to the workout without marking it as complete and ending the timer.

  9. Adding weight lifting terms

    I would love to be able to Add weight lifting exercises on the calendar similar to the already existing cardio option. It would be great to have a leg or back and bi or chest, shoulders days. It would be great to be able to type that in a save it then be able to re click it later times. I use the calendar as a way to plan out what days I’m doing back/bi, legs, etc. it’s not currently efficient b/c I have to use cardio as a code. For example I have to put badminton and baseball as…

  10. Bring back Playcare at Kingston Location

    Invaluable service for single parents who want to stay fit. Hard to find a sitter for a short period before or after work to hit the gym. Paying the extra money for a premier membership each month to have childcare and be able to work out is so worth it mentally, physically, and emotionally. No gyms locally offer childcare, closest that I know of is the YMCA in South Plymouth. Which isn't very close. It is huge value for single parents just trying to keep some balance with fitness and sanity. It was very disappointing when they dropped the service.…

  13. Add exercise comments to remember machine settings

    The ability to enter weight, seat number setting and other settings for each weight machine. I currently use a picture from an Excel spreadsheet, but it would be great to have it in the app.

  16. Accessing online classes 24/7

    Create a library of classes we can access, so we can still get our favorite workouts in when schedules are altered - ex while traveling for work or vacation. I would suggest that the library store streaming classes from the previous week and refresh weekly.

  18. Better Garmin tracking

    When I track a workout with my Garmin Instinct, even though Garmin tracks it as Strength, when it gets pulled into the Vent App it’s tracked as Cardio. I’d like more accurate tracking coming from the Garmin app into the Vent app.
