One work around that reduces the number of steps is to go back to the first weigh-in you want to record and set an activity for that day with "Body stats" checked and then click "Setup repeat option" next to the date you've selected and then do a weekly frequency and select every day option of the week and then repeat for however many weeks to get you to the present day. It will then populate all those days with a body stat task and you can click that to enter the weigh-in for that day. It goes from 8 clicks to 4, which is definitely better.
Another option that reduces the workload is to just record the weekly average on the Sunday of each week so you can see the trend even without the daily fluctuations and then you can just save that daily data in a doc or something for the client. It's less granular of a picture but still gives a similar effect.

2k votes and 4 years later this is somehow still not a feature. I've seen this available in other cheaper apps so I'm not sure why it's not an option here.
