    As a client/member in my coach's training program, being able to DM/directly message other clients/members is the number one thing that would improve community formation.

    Wearing my Product Manager hat, I think such a feature should be implemented as a toggle (defaults to off/disabled) so as not to introduce any unintended side-effects for existing coaches. Existing coaches who wish to enable this feature (I imagine many would), can simply enable.

    This approach would be a very safe way to add an incredibly useful feature which helps keep clients/members in-app vs going outside (social media, email, etc.) which is what some of us are forced to do.
