Tempo of exercises:
(__-__-__-__) most exercises have 4 phases and when writing a tempo I start with the beginning of the movements:
so lets say bench press
3-1-1-2 = 3 second lowering, 1 second pause, 1 second up, 2 second pause at lock out.
or 2-x-x-x = 2 seconds down, no pause, fast up and no pause....
then we can drastically vary the exercises without having to create new exercises and descriptions for our clients each time we want to change the tempo.
We can have the same exercises done differently for a bodybuilder or an explosive athlete with little change to the program.
it would also be good if this could be periodized in the 'advanced workout builder' option
