We are continually upgrading your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Link Trainerize messenger with Facebook messenger

    If the Trainerize messenger could sync or link to Facebook messenger it would prevent the tags of "not messaged" recently
    Most of my clients prefer to message through FB as they use it as their primary message communication.

  2. option for client to link to text message

    Really having trouble with some clients engaging in chatting via the app. It would be nice to have a feature that they could turn on/off that has trainerize messages texted or whatsapped to them as well.

  4. Auto messages for clients who have missed workouts

    It takes a lot of time to scroll down who has missed workouts and messaging each one of them. I would definitely love the idea to have an auto message when a client has missed a workout to keep them more accountable to their program.

  5. centralized messaging - remove comments and just use messages

    Currently my client messages me from several different areas in the platform. All messaging should be centralized or at the least sync into one messaging center. Is there a way to centralize all messages. For example, anytime my client completes a workout for the day, the message I send to congratulate her is only visible in the notification for the workout she completed. It does not sync to Primary Messaging. Is there a way to get it to sync so I am not going in so many areas to find messages sent?

  8. Message Deactivated Clients

    Give trainers the ability to message deactivated clients without having to reactivate them. This way we can reach out and see if they are interested in starting training again. Great marketing tool to have

    As deactivated clients do not get any more notifications as they cannot sign in, they cannot be re-engaged that way.

    Would exporting a list to mailchimp work?

    Since we’re not an email marketing app, we recommend you turn on the integrations with Mailchimp, AWeber, etc via Zapier. You can discover the zaps in the Add-ons > Zapier section.

    I'd like to be notified when clients make changes to their schedules/workouts/habits. Specifically, if a client schedules a new workout or rescheduled one.

  12. groupe message for more than 10 clients

    Hi! As I realise that we can send group message only for 10 clients. I am starting new Fat Loss Programs every month. 25-50 new clients join me monthly.

    When i wanted to send group message in messenger I could attached only 10 clinets. Would be much more better than able to attached everybody from the group.

    (I know the re is the option to send message in group as well but is not that good)

  14. Being able to use Whatsapp as messaging app

    Being able to link Instant messaging icon to my Whatsapp Business account so that chats and group chats can happen via Whatsapp.

    It would make so much sense to outsource Instant messaging app and focusing on the training and nutrition experience of the app.. nothing can beat Whatsapp

  15. Deactivate Date Specific

    With program memberships, clients will let me know they want to cancel. If a payment went through recently, I have to remember on ___ date to go in and deactive them in trainerize. It would be nice to enter in a date with the deactivation so I don't have to stress about it or add it into Trello or my calendar. On top of this, maybe even send a message to the client that says, "your account will deactivate tomorrow, are you sure you still want to do this?"

  16. Ability to archive Groups instead of just delete them

    Want to the option to archive Groups so trainers can refer back to the messages/data in them but keep the active groups list organized and tuck away old Groups without permanently deleting them.

  17. Add the ability to use client nicknames in auto field

    It would be very convenient and add to the user experience if we could add a client nickname in bio and use that nickname in the auto field for auto messages. This would make auto messages come off more personable and who calls their clients by their first name all the time?

  18. Be able to add clients to an existing group when I first setting up his profile

  20. Add an SMS reminder service to remind clients to perform habits such as take a multi vitamin (Precision Nutrition Style).

    Hi Guys, just a thought, can you add a "habit/task" reminder into the software. Either by email or txt message. This was I could automate things like "take your multi vitamin today" for many clients on the same phase. Precision Nutrition style.

    As the app already has daily reminder notifications which clients can tap to engage directly with the app, we do not plan on adding SMS reminders on top of it.
