GIFs for Messages!
What’s App, Telegram, etc. all provide access to GIFs which can be a great and fun way to show excitement and encouragement for clients (for example, when they share a “win” of some kind with their coach).
Right now coaches are stuck with static emojis, making me discern the possibility of switching my clients to Telegram where I can not only communicate in much more fun ways, but it’s also FREE!

Better Quick Emoji Options in the Chat! ❤️👍💪🏆 👏 🎉😃
The current 6 emoji options that can be quickly accessed in the bottom right corner of the chat box are very lacking. For instance, I’ve NEVER used the “thumbs down” emoji, nor have I used the “waving hi” emoji – both are basically pointless and take the place of emojis that coaches are much more likely to use, like the “arm flexing” and/or “trophy” emoji or even just a simple “smiling” emoji (not a face that’s sticking its tongue out at a client…).
Here is a better lineup of emojis that I think coaches would appreciate having quick access to:…

Upgrade filtering options in message section
Have the ability to put messages in favorite, add tags to certain conversations, due date or date reminders to do a certain follow-up, add automatic messages individually, filter by tag, group, activity level, not messaged lately, etc.

Add an EMAIL autofield feature in the chat
Having an {email} autofield like the already available {firstname} would be helpful for trainerize wanting to create personalised links or automations.

Client direct messaging &/or group messaging
In all messaging, allow the coach to pin important messages.
In all messaging, include a search bar so previous messages can be found easier for both the coach & client rather than needing to scroll through all messages to find a specific one.
In both direct & group messaging, allow old or no longer relevant files to be removed from "files" by the coach.
In group messaging, add a tab for "links" so the coach can provide clients important links can be uploaded & removed when no longer relevant & clients can easily find them.1 vote -
Auto messages in Mobile App
I would like to be able to review outgoing or sent auto messages on the mobile app without accessing the desktop version, and without having to go through the calendar or the dash.
It would be much more useful to see and edit what auto messages are coming for both groups and individual clients.4 votes -
Pin Messages & Reply Directly to Message to Create Threads
To have the ability to pin messages in group chats.
To have the ability to reply directly to a message in a group chat creating a thread. This would allow you go do Q&As within a group chat which could take the coaching aspect to the next level. We dont want to have to use another platform like telegram for this.

Be able to customize "payment failure" message
The payment failure messages are worded incredibly harsh. I would like to be able to customize them, just like we are able to with every other automated message. Not sure why this is an option for all automated messages EXCEPT this one?

Break out messages into threads
One long message chain is hard when communication is high as things get very lost and we have to scroll up far to find something.
If a client sends me 5 video of her form on exercises, i would like to reply to that specific video in a thread. Especially if im replying via video, we dont need 10 videos in a row and having to guess which one relates to which one.

Quick Calendar view of a client WITHIN the messaging Tab!
A quick calendar view should be easily accessible each time you click on a new client within the messaging page. You shouldn't have to open a new tab for each client and THEN click on the calendar. It is far too time-consuming. Instead, have a calendar view open on the far right side within the messaging page instead of "PDF Attachments." This would allow to see critical data (workouts, comments, habits, etc) and send quick messages without having to do 3 more button clicks and wait for load times.

Would love to be able to have an additional option to set up auto messages to go out RIGHT AFTER a client completes a workout.
Would love to be able to have an additional option to set up auto messages to go out out once a client completes a workout.
Many times I find myself not using the feature because it get's very screwy and feels very robotic if a message goes out asking my client how the workout went for a specific workout and they end up doing it on another day.
That way I would feel MUCH better about inputting messages and nothing would get missed. Thanks!

Have a separate app for coaches on your phone
I use the app on my phone to track my own workout so I can't reply to messages on my phone which makes it harder to reply promptly. I think having a completely separate app like Trainerize Coach or something could be greatly useful to all people like me, who, don't have their coach account connected due to wanting to use the app to track themselves...

Allow shortened URLs in messages
Problem Statement:
Currently, users cannot include clickable shortened URLs in messages via the mobile app. When a user attempts to share links from services like Google Forms, Microsoft Forms, TinyURL, etc., the URLs are displayed as plain text. This results in long, unsightly URLs being pasted into chats, which can appear unprofessional.Idea Statement:
To enhance user experience and professionalism in messaging, the app should allow the use of shortened URLs. This can either be implemented by allowing users to paste shortened links directly or by automatically1 vote -
Bold - Italic - Underline
It would be nice to change the font to bold, italic, or underline. That way we can put some important words into consideration and divide the paragraphs and subjects in the group chat.
