This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  2. Seamless operation

    The workout should be seamless. Once I hit start I shouldn’t have to touch my phone or watch except to enter weight or push pause. All cues and timers should be automatic. I followed my trainer here from Future because he’s the man, otherwise I would not use this app.

  4. Videos start the timer

    When I open an exercise that has a video I watch the video and do the exercise but it never started the timer or tracked what I was doing having to start the timer and then go into the video is a pain and I keep forgetting

  6. Larger Variety of Set/Rep Options

    Have a better variety between the "Sets", "Reps" & "KG" boxes.

    Best example, my trainer sets an EMOM for me which includes the Ski Erg, when I come to imput my distance/ calories burnt, I can't. My only option is to input: Reps = 1 | KG = 0.

    An option to switch Reps for Time & KG for Distance would really enhance the tracking of progression in workouts.

  7. Identify substitute exercise that are modified for specific injury types such as “modified for knee injury”

    When trying to substitute an exercise due to injury or arthritis, it would be helpful if substitute options could be filtered/labeled so you know it’s a modification to support injury or that it’s an alternative based on equipment. It would be helpful if exercises were labeled by muscle so you know what you are targeting. Sometimes it obvious, some times it isn’t.

  8. Count down timer before exercise starts

    A countdown timer will allow you to press start and get fully ready before exercise time starts. Right now when you press starts it cuts into your exercise time cause you have to pick the phone up/down

  10. Transferring old workout to next week

    When transferring old workout that was completed to a new week give an option to transfer as a new workout. So instead of editing old ones I can just enter new results . Or when creating new workout give an option to go to history and grab from old ones so I don’t have to search or recreate.

  11. With each exercise, post a picture of muscles being used. This will allow us to engage each muscle more fully.

    Each exercise has a video example. In addition to the video, a picture of the muscle(s) being used would be very helpful to help us focus and engage that muscle more fully. Mind/ body connection.

  12. increase display area for workouts

    Lifetime GTX workouts are truncated- need more room to see entire workout to end. Also need to be abel to see all video demos in app for that days workout.

  13. Have the ability to log each side in the app

    If you’re doing 20 reps in total and only manage to do say 9 on the left side and 10 on the right side you need to be able to log which side failed first instead of just recording a whole number as “19” then typing a message.

  14. Comments on the move/exercise. Not the workout

    Would be nice to add comments on the exercise /move and not the whole workout. Doesn’t really help me in the whole workout as a whole because the workouts may change and the same move is in there. I’d like to see what I comments on the exercise so if it’s in a different workout I’m not searching to find the old workout. The comment is right there on the exercise. Every other app has it this why. Not sure why it’s like this for this app. It’s a huge flaw.

    Would be great to be able to save the WOD and name it so. As you can repeat without having to add the exercises every time 🙄

  16. Add option to remove a set

    This app is way to touch sensitive. Every time I pick up my phone with the app open, one small shake or slight bump adds another set to my workout. Either remove the add set option while doing a workout or include a way to remove a set. It’s really annoying.

  17. Add snow shoeing and cross country skiing to activities for us Canadians

    You need more snow activities. Snow Shoeing and Cross Country skiing are great outside exercises in the winter

  19. Confirm before ending workout

    Ask to confirm before ending a workout. Or add a way to resume the workout. The amount of times I’ve accidentally hit end is infuriating.

  20. I would like to enter an exercise that isn't on the Trainerize menu.

    When I work out at home I substitute sissy squats for the leg press. They aren't on the app. I would like to be able to write them in.
