If the exercise is created as a HIIT workout then it has a time and audio queues so you know what’s coming next.

Need this! Would prefer to be able to enable it on and off so it can auto-run for higher intensity workouts and disabled when at the gym and potentially walking around and waiting between exercises for equipment

This is especially great for AMRAP type exercises for long circuits. I'd suggest adding a tone at the halfway mark, or maybe even a countdown that says 1 minute remaining, then counts the last 10 seconds

Yesss because we have to stop each set ..and that's bad

Totally agree-this would be a great feature

This would be so helpful! There’s already a timer feature for rest periods. Please add a timer for the actual workouts too!

I would love it to align to the intervals set by the trainer so that I could get audio queues when to do the next part of the exercise. For example, if I have 2min running 1 min walking 10 times through, I would want it to tell me when the 2mins are up, when the 1 min is up, and when I am done with the entire workout (the 10 times). I currently need to coordinate this app with an interval timing app and my music! A lot of app shuffling while trying to run.

So that the trainer can program it.
Say we have a set of burpee, plank, and leg raises. She wants hs to do burpees for 30 sec, plank for 60 and leg raises for 30. It’s be good if she could program the timer into each one instead of just the rest periods.

Usually the exercises are for a specific length of time with a recommended rest time between each circuit as well as the number of times you should complete a circuit. So one circuit may include 5 exercises that should be done for 60 secs each but you’re asked to do that set of exercises 3 times with a resting period of 90 seconds between each round. It would be nice for there to be an interval timer already set up so that once you press “start” the circuit can begin and be done as intended with the resting periods in the correct places

I would say if you had the option for a timer or a stopwatch just like we have on our alarm app now. The trainer would be able to choose and set a timer or say patch and hold as long as possible

my trainer gives me core excersices. An example would be: I have a plank to maintain during 1m and then 30 sec rest and another type of plank for 45 sec. As of now, I have to leave the application, go on my timer, press start, stop, reset, start, on and on. If I don't remember the excersice or the tiime, I have to go back to the app and then back again to the timer.

My trainer utilizes a varied approach - sometimes as many reps within a certain time frame - and then with a set rest interval - or just a fixed number of reps. My concern with the timer is twofold. First, its proximity to the comment button. I have "fat fingers" and when I'm tired, they're not exactly accurate in hitting a button - and when I first tried your current format to set my own rest interval, I hit the comment button way too often. Before the timer button was at the bottom of the screen with nothing else around it. Secondly, in the old timer, I could set a rest interval and it would stay at that interval until I changed it; all I need to do was hit the timer button. Under the current format, every time I hit the timer button, the drop down box comes down with all the interval choices and I need to re-set it EVERY SINGLE TIME! I would prefer the old format where once set, it remained the same until I chose to re-set it.
Thanks for giving this some thought.

Wall sits or plank holds for instance. Or when the instructions are to set the timer for 6 minutes each circuit, the timer only goes to 5.

routines that have a set time like 30
Seconds flutter kicks, minute of rest, plank 30 seconds etc. I believe that is a capability now.
The other example is core routine with plank for time I use the timer but have to start it myself.
Or a run for time. The timer runs up not down.
