Log and track food, calories and meals in app without having to link another app
Should be able to log and track meals without having to link another meal tracking app, for example MyFitnessPal. I don't want to have to download several apps to use the Trainerize app my coach uses
Hi everyone,
Thanks for your great suggestion! We’re marking this idea as completed! You can now track your food directly within the application.
You can change your meal tracker by going to ... in the bottom menu. Selecting Meal tracker and select "In this app".
This feature is available to everyone with app versions from 7.16 and up.
We’re returning your vote to you so please come back to feedback.trainerize.com to add your vote to other ideas.
Thanks!

I noticed this as well today when I saw the app hadn't synced some changes I'd made to my menu last night. Not sure why; it had been syncing fine. I just went in to the "sync now" setting and it pulled in the data, but I don't think we should have to do that.

Make sure the app syncs each time with my fitness pal. Too often it does not. Very annoying

Link to the Easy Diet Diary app as my I find this much more user friendly than MFP

MFP let’s you share your diary by setting a password, we should be able to secure share the data between both using this secure password option.

I do not know what is involved, but a sync option seems available in all of the mentioned Apps/Programs. It is difficult to use so many different, so the NEW one ( in my case, your app) gets dropped and I look for another way to log my progress etc. when they sync I open them all and cross reference.

Connect with MyFitnessPal app easily or integrate meal plan feature of your own

Love this idea! I don’t mind having my food diary shareable to friends but having to set it to Public just for this app is really invasive and irritating

allow me to add my own macro nutrient and calorie data without another app please. if you don't add this additional functionality someone else will make an app like this with what your users want and your company will be out of business!

My fitness pal is $20 per month as on Jan 2021. I’m not paying that. Please integrate with other food logging apps. Thank you!

I agree with Lisa Palmer. I had fit bit, unfortunately my identity was compromised. Yep I threw a big fit bit.

Could not agree more!!!! I dislike that I have to use 2 or 3 apps with this app where it could all be in one place!!!!

It would be great if we didn’t have to use 2 apps.

And track beneficial cholesterol & fats vs cholesterol & fats to avoid. Like separate them vs just "you had too much cholesterol or fat"

It would be helpful to be able to track our food in the app but also have the ability to swap out food for other equivalent foods. The alt foods would be in a drop down menu and would adjust to the caloric intake. Does that make sense? 🤣

The my fitness pal is a very slow app to log In daily meals I used it for a few months but it is not user friendly

The link to the other app rarely works and doesn’t feed this app

I have to manually sync to MyFitnessPal regularly otherwise it doesn’t work. And same for steps.

Somehow, can you make this app a “Friend” in MyFitPal, so we don’t have to share these very intimate details with the www?!?!

I’d rather not because I already have a robust history in MFP, and they have a robust database of foods and accurate calorie counts. I tried Noom’s and theirs is not good because it takes a long time to build. I don’t want to have to use multiple food tracking apps. Best to sync with the market leader instead.

I like writing down the times I’m drinking eating and taking supplements keeps me accountable and on track! Right now I’m using my planner and writing it in there, even modifications just like in the workout programs, I like that!
