Log and track food, calories and meals in app without having to link another app
Should be able to log and track meals without having to link another meal tracking app, for example MyFitnessPal. I don't want to have to download several apps to use the Trainerize app my coach uses
Hi everyone,
Thanks for your great suggestion! We’re marking this idea as completed! You can now track your food directly within the application.
You can change your meal tracker by going to ... in the bottom menu. Selecting Meal tracker and select "In this app".
This feature is available to everyone with app versions from 7.16 and up.
We’re returning your vote to you so please come back to feedback.trainerize.com to add your vote to other ideas.
Thanks!

Track your food and enter in what time you ate

Log time you ate because it's not just what you eat it's also when. I would like to be able to go back and see my patterns there by better understanding my habits so I can make changes

Ability to have trainerize capture food journals from MFP rather than just macros would be great!!

You know what to do

Disagree. This would be adding functionality that the app isn't designed for. Focus on the core training product, send people to MFP

Rather than work from my fitness pal, make a way to track and log my water and food.

Yes! Especially for those of us that don't use MyFitnessPal.

I've always found it hard to follow my meal plan. This app has allowed me to accurately follow my workout plans but it lacks efficient ways of tracking my meals.
Take how you track your exercises and make it about tracking nutrition too

Although syncs with MyFitnessPal would be good if the actual food you log on that transfers across to this programme - only nutrition n calls sync??

Allow for Android app

When I go to refresh the page it doesn't always check for updates from MyFitnessPal. There's no way to force the checking of updates.

It is a great idea that this app can sync with my fitness pal, but why does it have to open both apps to do this. You should he able to access them through this app. The same should be said about using fitbit.
It would be quicker if everything was all on one screen -

This is a great idea because syncing with all these things is cumbersome. It would be nice to be able to track all of our program within one app.

Because my fitness pal doesn't account for the exercise you're doing so you don't know what you're burning.

It'd be awesome if I could record my daily macros or have the app sync with myfitnesspal.

I think that adding meal tracking it would be super important for this app. Just so that your trainer can watch what you're eating, your macros, and your calories in versus calories out. One way to do this would be to add brand new meal tracking to your app. The other option with be to team up with a program such as my fitness pal or fit bit or a program like that so that the person operating the app can automatically sync their diet into trainerize and their trainer be able to see it.
I understand that it is always easier said than done. But adding meal tracking would make this app go from good to great.

Food tracking would give great info to both the trainer and the client.
