Exercise guidance/explanations & better weight tracking for gym equipment ie smith machines start at a base weight =25#-max weight incorrect
It would be great to have little explanation of the exercises on where we should be feeling it and which muscles we’re working
Also, when you input how much weight you’re adding by to machines vs free weights is a little confusing. I only have a smith machine for squats, bench press, etc and its base weight is 25 lbs so trying to figure out an accurate max weight is confusing.
It would be nice if similar exercises gave you and idea of where to start based off of another exercise you’ve done instead of taking 1 day to figure out base weights. I feel like there are some exercises, especially legs and squat like exercises that are super similar and having the info about how much weight I’ve lifted in the past would be really helpful. Right now you have to exit your workout to look at other workouts to see the weights you’ve done in the past for similar exercises.
