Beginner Clarity for Strength Assignments: What “Work 1” Should Feel Like
As someone new to strength training, it’s hard to know what an assigned workout like “Work 1” should actually feel like in the body. Beyond reps and weight, it would be extremely helpful to understand which muscles are meant to be doing the work, how to position the body, and whether the effort should be driven by the hamstrings, quads, glutes, or other muscle groups. While videos are very helpful, real life execution often feels different than what’s shown on screen. A short explanation alongside the workout video describing what to focus on, what muscles should be engaged, and what…

Mark the days on the calendar where workout is scheduled with and orange Dot. Change that dot to Green when the workout is completed. If the workout is missed change the dot for that day's workout to red. This marking of the calendar with dots to show where workouts exist will help trainers visually look through the calendar and make sure that there is a workout on that given day. An advanced feature would be to take the first character of the workout preferably a number as I have with mine so workouts one through six and it would show…

Collapses exercises when completed
I’m sure this is in here but I’m not going to wade through 312 pages — you should also combine similar suggestions! Zillions are just repeats. But scrolling through the entire plan during a workout to find what’s left has our entire class griping about it. Our old tracker automatically collapsed and checked off what had been completed. So much easier to find what’s left

Detect workout with apple watch
The Motra app does that very well: it uses the movements of the Apple Watch to detect what exercises you’re doing and you’re finishing a set, then it automatically starts the rest count down while you can specify the weight you were doing.

Functionality improvements
I’ve noticed that the app glitches when you move around workout dates. There’s also no ability to overwrite a workout if the app glitches part way through the workout. For example, I noticed I wasn’t on the latest version of Apple upgrades, and my watch would not log the work out towards exercise minutes. Similarly, the app didn’t capture my heart rate or time spent accurately. Since the heart rate part of my Apple Watch was still working, I would’ve liked to override the data from that workout.

Easier way to enter strength workout
I shouldn't have to find the exercise. Then put how many sets or reps then save then do the workout. It's too time consuming when you only have a limited amount of time to workout.

Option to auto populate reps and weight of an exercise instead of entering it 8 times
Individual emtries wastes time, so do having movements separated in a superset. Option to populate the same reps and weight after the first set. If you have a 4 set row bench superset, make that just two sections with 4 entry spaces each. Much easier than scrolling down 4 times to achieve the same goal.

Please add more flexibility to customize workouts
Due to certain limitations I often must substitute exercises and/or want to expand my workout beyond the coach’s specific lifts. While the “substitute” option is there you can only sub in something already in the database. There is currently no way to add in additional (extra) lifts/exercises once already started a workout. Additionally, it would be super helpful if the option to add in a customized name or description was available. Not every lift I need is in the database. I would love to be able to insert exercises from my own plan with my custom name and description.

Give trainers option to generate AI video showing my trainer’s entire workout so I don’t have to keep picking up and putting down my phone
This would ease burden on trainers to create a custom workout experience (merging custom workout with peloton type experience)

You should be able to concertina the exercises. Psychologically, seeing every item in every set full exposed is very deflating.
Most people don't gym for fun, it's a means to an end. Psychologically speaking, there is nothing more disheartening than coming off an 11 hour day and being met with a list that drags on and on. It makes you want to skip. If trainers, physics clients aren't wanting to exercise because of the app, they'll look elsewhere.

Work out directions IN the workouts
When doing a planned workout I cant access my trainers directions that are on the page before you "start workout". I'm new to working out & need the directions while in the workout, not before.

Back page option that brings you back to last spot on previous page when looking through workouts
When I am adding workouts to my routine, I have to go through all the pages and previous steps when I am browsing my options if I view the workout details then close out. I’d like to be able to go back a page to where I was looking when I was on that page
