We are continually updating your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Swap proteins in recipes.

    It would be really nice to have an option in the meal planner that allows you to swap proteins, and calculates the amount of the new protein to add. Same with pea protein, hemp seeds, and soy protein - it would be easier for people starting out on the program who don’t have all of these things stocked.

  2. Ability to enter the brand of protein shake

    You have a particular brand of whey powder/protein bar etc even if you have more then stated

  4. Better accuracy by allowing amendments

    Allow the quantities/weights of ingredients in a pre set meal be adjustable so that macros and calories are more precise. I'd like to be able to hit "ate today" and then just adjust the ingredients to exactly what I had, or add an extra such as a scoop of protein. Currently I track everything individually but often from the recipes.

    I like to weigh a banana for example rather than just "medium" or "large". This would give the option to adjust so work for those who are happy with either format and be quicker for those like me.

  5. Include macros for generic brand foods

    Ensure the macros are listed for foods that come in many brands and sizes to ensure we are within the daily macros. For example, 12 whole wheat crackers - there are many varieties to chose from.

    It’s hard to make single servings. Would like the whole recipe but then just breakdown how many grams per serving so that it’s more exact.

  10. Allow to join food plans with family & friends

    Me and my partner are on this weigh loss journey together so we do eat the same foods. It would be ideal that we can send each other the food plans for the week ahead so when we go shopping it’s all there in the app.

  11. Ability to adjust the calories for a meal & recalculate the macros

    If my breakfast/lunch/dinner are a set amount of calories but I want to reduce them so I can sub in a snack or shake then I can still have the meal but reduce the number of calories down to fit in with the plan.

  12. Have the number of calories & macros for each ingredient in the recipe so if you substitute or omit you know how that changes your plan.

    If you want to miss out an ingredient you don’t like or have I want to be able to see how that will affect overall calories/macros do I can adjust or substitute with something else. Plus it helps the user learn how many calories & macros of foods so they can learn to do it themselves & not constantly follow meal plans.

  13. Connect meals with Fitbit

    Not being able to select a meal made from the trainerize app and the have meals from your Fitbit app to fill the days meals is a time consuming hassle. While the two apps may not be able to connect due to legal issues, maybe there is a trainerize app can make it so that we can easily cut and paste from the cooking page? Right now we can’t even cut and paste what’s there to make it easier. Thanks 😊

  14. My fitness pal

    Please make it so you can sync food for one day from my fitness pal and this app at the same time. Sometimes I use the meals from this app and sometimes I like to use my fitness pal using both for one day would make it easier to have all in one place.

  19. Use AI to create recipies with the exact macros you need per meal.

    I use AI to help me find a recipe that has the macro vales I need. So if I'm close to my goals at the end of the day and I have x amount of fats, y amount of carbs, and z amount of protiens left for the day, the AI tells me ingredients and amounts of each and creates a meal based on those numbers. If this was in-ap, then it could be saved and entered easily.

  20. Meal plan

    Would like to be able to add or take away ingredients of the recipes provided . Modify them and also make half portions as required if I am doing less calories some days . That way my couch can monitor what I am eating exactly
