This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Allow user to enter the serving size themself

    The app defaults to 1 serving, e.g. 1 cup, and then only offers fractions. This is super clunky and time consuming. At least default it to the -. Better yet, allow user to enter in decimals.

  3. Keeping measurement settings for frequently logged items

    For recent or frequent food items, keep the measurement as typically is logged so changing that every day isn't necessary.
    Example - logging 10 almonds each day, but when going in to update it, every day it reverts to 1 cup of almonds.
    This exists in MyFitnessPal

  4. Add water amount in the meal section

    Add water intake in the meal section. Should not be a separate reminder. Look at my fitness pal something similar. Water intake is very important for people who have trouble drinking water.

  6. Raw foid choices. I do not buy prepared food. I cant always find the ingredients needed to make a sandwich, or simple dinner. Most items are

    Basic ingredients and raw fruit and veg. That you can put together for example 2 carrots, 2 celery stalks, 2 potatoes 1 4 oz chicken ******. Now I have soup.

    I’ve never liked My Fitness Pal, found Nutra Check far superior and also a lot cheaper. If you could Intergrate with Nutra Check this would be a lot better!

  10. Have decimal point option on custom foods

    It would be great to have decimals when adding custom food as many foods are, for example 1.4g etc.

  11. Make serving sizes larger/easier to click to edit

    I have to tap 3-4 times trying to hit the right space to edit the serving sizes for meals, just a bit of an annoyance.

  12. Allow decimal places for macros

    I always round up values at the moment i.e. 1.3g of fats I’d key in as 2g. It will be easier if it allows us to key in up to 2 decimal places.

  14. Ability to search within a specific food category (e.g. search only within favorites)

    The goal of favorites or recents (I assume) is to find food quickly that you use often, but my favorites have gotten long and none are in alphabetical order. Instead of having to scroll through them all would like to search within. Search feature brings up results from entire database and not sorted by recent use, favorites, etc.

  16. Family Style / Meal Prep Style - Save the total meal ingredients once and then log how large your portion was. Share total meal with family.

    While cooking, log the weights and amounts of the ingredients used. Record the total of this as one "product" or one "food item".
    Then, when you grab your portion size for the week, you only have to say how much you grabbed from the total meal and don't have to calculate and add each ingredient again every single day.
    Share the "product" or "food item" between family members or friends who are also eating from the same batch of food. That way, only one person has to enter the meal details and everyone else can just say how much they…

  18. Edit a Meal

    Edit your meal after putting in the food tracker. I want to be able to move a food from lunch to dinner or remove the food item from the meal altogether but I can't. I have to delete then add the meal back, bad UX

  19. Can't look up the macros on individual items before I enter and save them.

    Can't find individual macros on each item before entering them. Just gives calories. How can you plan your meals for the day. I have to use Carb manager to plan my meals and transfer the data onto this and my protiens are way off. I have no way of seeing how you calculated my protiens individually, just as a total.

  20. Share food log diaries

    Currently my spouse and I are able to copy each others food logs in my fitness pal. We take turns meal prepping and planning meals . We have no switched yet mainly to this reason of not being able to see each others food logs and copy
