This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Save and exit workout then reopen

    Want to start workout but then save and exit if need be. Sometimes while I rest in a workout I want to see other days workouts because I like to substitute some exercises but compare to the rest of the other days. Currently if you exit a workout and reopen it, it will restart how long you’ve been working out for and I don’t want to do that because I want to be able to track how long I take

  2. Ability to restart, pause or push back workouts or training program when going on vacations, missed days or injuries

    I’ve missed some workouts and it just keeps going as wk1 day 7 when in reality I’m only on wk 1 day 2. I’d like to be able to push the workouts out based on my schedule or if I go on a vacation etc.

    Or if I can restart the program.

  3. Be able to enter text into workout weights and rep fields

    If someone chooses to use resistance bands which typically are
    Colored and can be long or short- that currently can’t be entered in workouts-
    I suggest having a toggle to choose between weights (numeric field only) or resistance bands (allow for text in entry field) so that people can enter types and colors of bands - etc

  4. Read workouts from Apple Watch

    It would be good if the App could detect and interpret a workout logged through the native Apple Workout App on the Watch

  5. Increment weight by 1kg on apple watch

    When typing in REPS and SETS on the watch, be able to to it 1kg up rather than just 5kg

  6. Be able to see calories burned when doing weights.

    Calories burned for weight training days so it will help us track our daily caloric intake and properly calculate keeping with in our caloric range when tracking food.

  7. Shorter workout options

    It would be nice to have 20-30 minute options when short on time. The 1-2hour commitment is sometimes overwhelming and deters me from starting a workout.

  8. Ability to delete empty sets.

    Ability to delete empty sets. My coach scheduled a certain number, and I sometimes hit 'add' by accident, then can't remove. Next workout I don't know if it's the extra set I added or one from the coach.

  12. Allow editing workout ahead of time

    I’d like to be able to modify my workouts without having to click the start now button. This way I can edit my workouts for the week ahead of time and be more efficient when I’m actually starting my workout.

  13. Add a "Custom" option to the Workout section.

    To add workouts not covered in the list such as Personal training, Zumba/dance workouts, or any other creative workout people come up with.

  14. The ability to save & Repeat Freestyle Workout

    I would like the option of being able to save my freestyle workouts and repeating them as I see fit, instead of having to go in and make the same workout weekly.

  15. While workout let the explanation videos run

    When I do a workout I always have to click on the video to watch it to get it shown up. While that the workout count gets on pause. Would be better if it would just run while it is my task to do the exersice, so I could directly copy the moves and try to do it in the same pace.

  16. Can it log workouts by heart rate in apple health app?

    It currently logs a weights session as km, it would be better by heart rate.

  17. Have the app announce the halfway point

    For exercises that require you to do it on both sides, have it announce the halfway point so we know when to switch if we aren’t looking at the timer.

  18. More variation with weight options

    Hi, I would love to be able to use trainerize without my phone in the gym, but I can’t put in specific weights! For example, I need an 8.75kg but the closest is 10kg.

  20. Be able of switching an exercise when we don’t have the equipment.

    Having optional workouts would be amazing because sometimes we don’t have the same equipment like the trainer and we have to skip the exercise
