Choosing a day out of the week to play EDM music.
I wanted to share an idea that could add a unique and inclusive experience for members while enhancing focus and workout performance.
Proposal: Designate one day per week as an EDM Training Day.
Research and member feedback consistently show that individuals with ADHD/ADD often concentrate better with rhythmic, high-energy music. EDM music, in particular, helps stimulate dopamine and endorphin release, which can improve focus, motivation, and workout endurance—not just for those with ADHD, but for many members seeking an energized training environment.
Benefits to the gym:
• Creates a fresh, themed experience members can look forward to weekly
• Supports neurodiverse members by offering an environment that enhances focus
• Boosts energy levels, intensity, and overall workout engagement
• Encourages attendance on a specific day, increasing weekly traffic
• Differentiates the gym from competitors with an intentional, member-focused concept
This could be positioned as a trial day (for example, one evening or one morning per week) and promoted as a high-energy, performance-driven training vibe.
