We are continually upgrading your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

    You have several categories on the calendar: walking, running or General. How about Yoga or Pilates or a "bodywork" category that encompasses these things?

  2. Use myfitnesspal diary key so that diary is not world readable

    As a trainer's client
    I would like to share my food diary with my trainer, but not the world
    So that I can retain my privacy and also receive nutritional advice from my trainer.

    --

    • Trainerize does support importing food diary, but currently requires it to be world readable / share with public.
    • Myfitnesspal supports locking a diary with a key
    • It should be possible for a client to provide this key to Trainerize so that Trainerize can access the food diary.

  4. ability to toggle between recurring and one time purchase

    it would be nice to be able to toggle between "recurring" and "one time charge" based on client needs. other wise you have to create 2 of every product.

  5. Send exercises in chat

    Often clients will message me and ask me "what would be a good replacement for ____" or ask me about form and I've uploaded coaching videos as exercises. It would be nice to look up the exercise library in the chat message so I could send them directly. I can't even go into their training plan and assign it to them because they are subscribed to a master program. So I would have to go to my YouTube channel and send them the link.

  6. Notification of client changes

    I'd like to be notified when clients make changes to their schedules/workouts/habits. Specifically, if a client schedules a new workout or rescheduled one.

  11. More integration with Wordpress allowing you to use the message system on both app and site

    Being able to have the same messaging system work on the app and on your Wordpress site so that whether your client is on your site doing their workout or on their phone at work, they can access the same messages.

  13. Ability to write 2 or 3 letters next to the rep number.

    When showing that a person has achieved maximum effort, which means 1 more rep couldn't be completed with perfect form, on a set if the rep range is 10-15 reps. Having the ability to label the reps as 15M or 15MAX; the uppercase 'M' meaning maximum effort.

  14. Transfer exercise from myfitnesspal

    Since myfitnesspal allows input from other apps for steps and calories burned, the exercise starts should also transfer over for a more accurate evaluation of total fitness and calories burned.

  15. Display age and height when recording Body Stats for quick reference when using a BIA device.

    When calculating BF% using a BIA device, I often have to revert back to the client profile, or ask the client repeatedly for their age/height.

    It would be nice if this info was already displayed next to the BF% tab for quick reference.
