We are continually upgrading your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  3. Display age and height when recording Body Stats for quick reference when using a BIA device.

    When calculating BF% using a BIA device, I often have to revert back to the client profile, or ask the client repeatedly for their age/height.

    It would be nice if this info was already displayed next to the BF% tab for quick reference.

  4. More integration with Wordpress allowing you to use the message system on both app and site

    Being able to have the same messaging system work on the app and on your Wordpress site so that whether your client is on your site doing their workout or on their phone at work, they can access the same messages.

  5. Include workout comments in daily email

    Please include all comments made in workouts in the daily email. Please also include a nutrition summary of what was logged for the day in the daily email report.

  6. Have the ability to copy programs and workouts from archive clients to active clients

    Could we have the addition of an 8 site skinfold as per the Internationally recognised standard by the International Society for the Advancement of Kinanthropometry.

  9. More progress photo angles options or a custom option

    The ability to add more then the standard 3 photo angles. There is an Other option on the web interface but doesn't seem to work. If we can add a custom Photo Angle that would be great.

    The welcome video engages the client and is designed to make a great first impact. As such, we want to take up the full screen of the phone so the client can really connect with the video of you.

    As such, horizontal videos will not be feasible.

  14. Use myfitnesspal diary key so that diary is not world readable

    As a trainer's client
    I would like to share my food diary with my trainer, but not the world
    So that I can retain my privacy and also receive nutritional advice from my trainer.

    --

    • Trainerize does support importing food diary, but currently requires it to be world readable / share with public.
    • Myfitnesspal supports locking a diary with a key
    • It should be possible for a client to provide this key to Trainerize so that Trainerize can access the food diary.

  15. Transfer exercise from myfitnesspal

    Since myfitnesspal allows input from other apps for steps and calories burned, the exercise starts should also transfer over for a more accurate evaluation of total fitness and calories burned.

  16. Integrate Trainerize Pay with PayPal Payflow Pro or PayPal Business as the Payment Gateway

    At the moment you can only use Stripe as your payment gateway, but since Stripe does not offer true merchant account services, international payments very often fail.

    To solve this problem, trainers should be able to integrate their PayPal Business account (or PayPal Payflow Pro account) to Trainerize Pay as their default payment gateway.

    PayPal Business and PayPal Payflow Pro offer true, verified merchant account services and therefore would reduce considerably the amount of failed payments business owners face right now.

    Also, clients could use PayPal Express checkout or maybe even PayPal Credit to pay.

    All it would require is being able to click into old training plans. I don't understand why this feature isn't available.

    Imagine telling an in person client they can't view their old training programs.

  20. A smaller "New Personal Best" image.

    The kettlebell/blue background image takes up way too much screen real estate before displaying the actual stats - over 3/4 of the screen!

    I had a client achieve 5 new personal bests, and when she tried to share it, there was only room for 3 of the exercises on the image.
