We are continually updating your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Garmin synced activities to be more specific

    Garmin syncs all activity on trainerize as general and would like that to be more specific is. Cycling, weight training etc

  2. Body Weight Chart with option of more than 3 years

    Currently the Body Weight Chart has an option goes 3 up to 3 years max. I have tracked my weight on Trainerize much longer than this, and would like All Time Option or a 5 year and 10 years option.

  3. Change foods calories/ingredients

    Im vegan and will eat things without some items in a meal. Should be able to add customizations or something

  4. Expand Tap Area for Rest Timers

    I find the tappable area to start the rest timer within a workout to be too small. I often hit it 2-3 times and am likely outside the tappable area. Could you increase the tap area of the timer start button so there is less likelihood of mis-tapping

  5. Previous stats on Apple Watch

    Would love to see previous stats on work outs as we are usually tracking week by week. Perhaps they come up as the default..(to save the space)

    Vibrate when timer is finished.

    Enter stats while timer is running, if the timer can run in the background and you can do other things it would save cutting into the rest period to enter stats.

    Awesome having it on the watch well done! We all would like to leave the phone in the locker..

  6. Add calorie burnt field on the HIIT workout.

    I always start a workout on my  watch and then when I add it into the app, it only allows me to add the duration of the workout. I forget to start a workout in the Trainerize app so adding this feature will allow me to track certain measurements. Possibly add in average heart rate field too.

  7. Allow clients to add their own exercises

    Allow clients to add in their own exercises/different exercises. Specifically useful for different types of the same machine with different resistance profiles. Enables accurate tracking of progress without ruining exercise PBs or volume PBs.

  8. You cant back date food or account for a second lunch or dinner

    Attach meals for previous days if you forget
    Attach multiple of the same meal type if you occasionally have a second dinner or tea

  9. Body measure instructions

    Pls add instructions to body measurements
    I can never remember if I measured at my belly button or the smallest part, or my actual bony hips or the widest part
    Bicep flexed or relaxed
    Please add bum measurement ie widest part

  10. Workout filters that work

    The filters don't work. If I wanted to search for workouts that only use bands, choosing that filter option and applying it doesn't work. I've tried using various filter options like abs only, but it never pulls up those specific ones. Would be nice to have this as a working feature, but perhaps it's something the user needs to setup on their end to work with their specific workouts?

  12. Create calendar view for adding and modifying workout assignments

    Add an actual calendar view that allows workouts to be added and modified. Each day that has workouts should show an icon representing the workout.

  13. Adding a different exercise instead of substituting and it not go to the bottom

    If you do one set of an exercise but decide you want to do or sub or with something else. Adding a different exercise at the place you’re at in your work out. Not at the bottom.

  14. To be able to easily edit serving sizes when adding foods

    I haven’t found an easy way to do this. For example, if the food item is for 1 cup but I only want to add 1 tbsp, I can’t see a way to change the form of measurement.

  16. stairmaster

    Stairmaster should have steps per minute to replace speed, and steps to replace distance. Flights should not be used because different machines counts flights differently. Levels should not be used because different machines assign different steps per minute to each level.

  19. Utilize the delete feature when i accidentally add the suggested meal

  20. Built in prep/rest time for workouts for non-interval workouts

    I know interval workouts from your trainer has programmed timers, but with non-interval timers, you have to manually start it, which doesn’t give you enough time to set the phone down and start your reps. Would be good to have a built in prep time to get prepared before just going stratigraphy into the timer.
