Have sets and weights auto fill with previous numbers.
When I start a new workout or cardio, have the previous numbers default so that I don't have to navigate big fingers on tiny numbers. I can change if needed but it will save typing again if the same.
Hi Everyone!
This idea is now completed. Clients can now quickly auto-fill previous exercise stats, saving time and simplifying progress tracking. Just toggle the auto-fill option at the start of the workout and get moving faster! Learn more.

I agree with Allie

Don’t like this idea, I prefer a suggestion for the last weight used. It’s always changing

I wish I could just auto fill the rest of the boxes after I fill in the first one

I think its better if you have the weights of the sets the previous time next to it as then you can try and beat that weight and enter it in

I usually always try to increase weight or number of reps so as long as I can see what I did in my previous workout, I would not want this feature as I would end up spending time changing it OR might be inclined to challenge myself to push harder.

Should be optional. Seeing my previous reps/weight is good enough. I rarely do same rep/weight and it would be inconvenient to have to adjust.

I’m okay with it only if it is an optional setting. I wouldn’t like it. It would take me longer because each day and workout may have a different goal (higher/lower reps/sets/weight).

This would revolutionize my lifting experience by saving me time and brain memory space

I would like to see these boxes filled with my previous best not just the previous workout. It’s so hard to find previous info on app and I unwittingly don’t challenge myself if the previous workout was a dud

This is huge. It is what is stopping us from using this app with our clients. When prescribing workouts for large numbers of clients, having to enter in new weights every time takes a ton of time. Volt just released a feature that does this. Maybe look at that. Also, if you used an RPE scale after each exercise you could build in a load progression that increases weight if RPE is low.

I like that it tells me what I did last time but if it auto filled I wouldn’t challenge myself to do more. I wouldn’t want to spend the time to delete any numbers.

My PT sets my number of sets and reps and I enter the results during the work out, so I prefer they remain blank. Maybe include and option for each user to either choose to prepopulate the fields or leave them blank

No. I would find this annoying

I agree and it should include the reps too. For example, if my trainer says do 3 reps; 20, 15, 12 it should populate those aong with the last weight I used.

You could make it a feature that can be switched on and off for those who want it and those who don’t.
If the feature is turned on - make the auto populated numbers a light grey so people know they are previous results and don’t lose their spot during their workout. Also if nothing is typed into the box make sure it doesn’t just use the previous numbers but in turn leaves it blank as intended.

I would like to know what I am doing each set and it will me to learn it better.

I wouldn’t want that feature due to I keep track of which set I’m on by inputting each of the numbers.
I would be a nice OPTION for others though.

Only if optional, and even then, a bad idea - encourages plateau and stagnation.
Generally, we try to increase weights and/or reps with every workout. If I go up in weight, I might not quite hit the total reps. Or, if a weight feels too easy, I might add a couple reps. Auto-populate = no progress/no improvement.
Also, as others noted, the empty blocks help us see where we’re at in our workouts.
