We are continually updating your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Make a playlist of exercises

    I'd love it if there was a playlist of all the exercises for each workout so I could watch and then pause it while I do the exercises rather than have to click on each exercise and then click on the video and then click out and onto the next one. I try to watch them all first but I forget which is which and have to check before each superset. Or maybe a printout to show the moves as I don't know the names yet.

  2. link with myfitness pal

    I'd love for trainerize to link with myfitness pal to show my trainer the foods that I eat and their app already has a huge database of food.

  3. Make the timer sound even if the screen turns off

    When my phone screen times out and shuts off, the timer does not sound. The screen has to be on for the timer to sound, which is a pain when doing a plank for a set period that is equal to or longer than the screen shut off time.

  4. Get rid of the check in button!

    It is the same as tracking. It slows down the app and it's a pain when I'm starting my workout and get slowed down by this process

  5. Allow drag and drop of different workouts to different days.

    Allow the user to drag and drop (move around) the workouts to different days. Because you don't always do the workout on the day your trainer has put it in.

  7. Multiple Trainers using same Email Address

    It would great to be able to use multiple trainers on Trainerize using your same email address instead of needing to have a separate email address and password for each trainer's account.

  8. Have sets and weights auto fill with previous numbers.

    When I start a new workout or cardio, have the previous numbers default so that I don't have to navigate big fingers on tiny numbers. I can change if needed but it will save typing again if the same.

    This idea is now completed. Clients can now quickly auto-fill previous exercise stats, saving time and simplifying progress tracking. Just toggle the auto-fill option at the start of the workout and get moving faster! Learn more.

    There are many people who do not fit the gender binary and insisting they must select male or female excludes them

    You can change your meal tracker by going to ... in the bottom menu. Selecting Meal tracker and select "In this app".

    This feature is available to everyone with app versions from 7.16 and up.

    We have added better visibility for rest blocks to your trainer while building workouts. You can tap on these rest blocks to start the timer to coundown (ie. 30s rest).

    If your trainer is not making use of this feature, please let him know to add the inline rest timers for you.

  13. Interval workout with audio cues so I can follow along without looking at the screen

    For workouts that include timed circuits, include timer and audio cues to prompt me to switch exercises or stop so I don't need to look at the screen.

    Hi everyone,

    We’ve just launch our MyFitnessPal integration. You can find it within your Settings > Apps and Devices.

    Simply connect your MyFitnessPal account and your meal data will be synced to Trainerize. We’ll import your last 2 weeks’ data when you connect, and any new meals logged on MyFitnessPal will automatically be imported.

    With this connection, your trainer can seamlessly see your caloric intake and carb/protein/fat breakdown per day on their end to help them monitor and customize your fitness plan.

    With the latest app, there is a dedicated section in your plans tab where you can see your goals you set with trainer.

    As Trainerize is all about connecting you with your coaches and working with them via workouts/nutrition or other ways to hit your goals, we encourage you to contact your trainer to set a goal with you!

  18. Use phone's back button as default back button

    Let me use the back button on my phone instead of the back button on the app to go to previous screens. I naturally go to the phone back button and only after nothing happens do I remember that your app is the only app I have that only goes back to previous screen if I use the app's back button.

  20. Print out workout

    Sometimes I don't want to be looking at my phone constantly so, it would be nice to have an option to print out my workouts and being able to right down my sets. Obviously I would have to enter the info into the website, after I'm done, but I would like that.
