We are continually updating your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Sync workouts that load what my previous workout so I don’t have to scroll and find my last PR

    If it’s a benchmark workout like BFF. When it cycles around to be done again, I can easily see my last results without having to scroll back when I did it last.

  2. Ability to make a comment attached to a specific exercise in a workout

    When doing a workout, there are multiple exercises… but when you want to comment, it is just a generic comment… it would be nice if I can make a comment attached to a specific exercise within the workout session.

  3. Enter my own recurring resistance training custom workout

    When I enter a “freestyle workout” I want to be able to store and access the same workout again without having to create a new freestyle workout every time. For example store and access a back / biceps workout and access it multiple times.

  4. connect to Suunto??

    Will Trainerize be able to connect to Suunto anytime soon? I am starting this app with a new trainer... it would be good for my steps etc to carry over :(

  5. Sync updates from MyFitnessPal

    Currently if you update your entered meals into MyFitnessPal it doesn’t resync into the Trainerize app. It adds in extra food but doesn’t take away food that’s been removed in MFP or amounts that have been updated

  6. Tap on food in food diary for nutritional information

    I want to be able to tap on the food I logged to see the nutritional info. This way if my macro counter is saying I’m over or under on a macro, I can see what food(s) I can and or need to adjust.

    Our total plan should be in PDF format for download purpose so that if a person again wants to follow the same then it will easier to access

  9. Ability to find meals with certain ingredients.

    I like mushrooms. There's no quick way to filter out recipes with portobello mushrooms. Please add mushrooms as ingredients for recipes & meals

  13. Apple Watch sync

    Cross training should show on Apple Watch in total calories or time spent vs km. Distance is irrelevant when weight training. Running should show the distance in the active screen workout. I look at my watch during a run and have no idea how far I’ve ran.

  14. Ability to give a weekly calorie target and set high/low calorie days in the app

    The daily calorie goal is not reflective of weekly targets. So it would be good to have a smart inbuilt calorie planner like nutracheck or other paid apps where you can set high or low calorie days that add up to the weekly calorie target.

  15. Better calories macro widget

    The circle charts in the widget's are pretty terrible. They should be horizontal progress bars with text that shows "progress/goal" such as "450/2000 calories" (I'm a data scientist who studies data presentation. Circle and piecharts are the worst for understanding)
    (the lifesum app has the best widget's I've ever seen, and show more info in a smaller prettier presentation. I can email examples if you'd like)

    It would be awesome if that widget was also available as a watch face

    Also.... The circle charts say "C" for calories and "CA" For carbs which is silly. Both words have "CA" In…

  16. Organization

    When doing a workout, the reps/sets should be expandable and color coded to make it a cleaner look. The reps should also match what the set reps are. Example, my trainer wants me to do 10-10-10-10 but the app on the right side shows me what I should be doing for 15-12-10-8. That’s not assistive during the workout. I need to know what I should be doing for reps of 10-10-10-10

  18. See comments made from previous weeks workout DURING a workout

    Otherwise we have to get out of the workout, go into calendar, scroll up access workout... etc. Would be cool to have a button to view past workout comments mid workout.

  19. The ability for a client to add availability to the calendar section to allow PT's to affectively plan one to one sessions

    At present only pts can add events to the calendar.. if clients could interact with this facility it would enable the easy planning of one to one, in person sessions
