We are continually upgrading your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Use phone's back button as default back button

    Let me use the back button on my phone instead of the back button on the app to go to previous screens. I naturally go to the phone back button and only after nothing happens do I remember that your app is the only app I have that only goes back to previous screen if I use the app's back button.

  2. link with myfitness pal

    I'd love for trainerize to link with myfitness pal to show my trainer the foods that I eat and their app already has a huge database of food.

  3. Ability to post to Facebook / Instagram

    I’m sync to Facebook but it does not allow me to post my work out to Facebook to share with social media and others of what I’m doing

  4. Show exercise history across all work out programs

    By example, benchpress was part of my first upper body workout program. It is now part of my second upper body workout program. The results of my last bench press workout should show up even in my new program.

  6. Reduce confusion of the track and check in buttons

    You have to check in first and when you do it says you have successfully completed your workout even though you haven't. I then go back in and track my workout and it steps me through each exercise including a rest.

  7. Add a feature to enter past body stats

    I know you can enter your stats for that day but what if you need to log one that was from a day or more ago?

  9. 15 second interval for timer

    The timer needs to be able to be set for any Duration amount. And the rest timer needs to have more increments available than just 15 sec increments.

  10. Take away the voice prompts/audio cues within interval workout

    The newest update within the app that has voice prompts within the time intervals is TERRIBLE! Worst idea. For example, a long prompt at the beginning of every single set saying “split squat for 30 seconds”, then interrupting your focus every single time to say “10 seconds left, you got this”. It’s redundant and has the opposite effect of what I’m sure the intention was. Please take the voice prompt away or at the very least provide a settings option where the user can manually turn this off. Ruined my workout today.

  13. BUG: Dash screen & workout tracking frequently is scaled very small when starting up.

    Frequently when I go into the Android app to use it (I have no idea about the iPhone app) the Dash screen is scaled so that the WHOLE workout and tracking will fit on the phone screen. That creates VERY SMALL text that cannot be read. It happens about 75% of the time. Sometimes it will correct itself after a few clicks around, other times it will not and will require me to go to a computer (web browser) to track my workout.
    VERY ANNOYING at the least!

  14. Calendar access in the app, and being able to shift workout days

  17. Allow user to customize distance units to cardio equipment, miles for treadmill, walk & run and meters for rowing

    Currently the app only allows a global setting for distance units, either kilometers or miles. However, rowing machines measure distances in meters and treadmills measure distances in miles. It would be much easier to be able to customize the app for each cardio machine.

  18. Give Trainers Ability to create their own recipies

    I would love to have the ability to create my own recipies!
    I leave in Greece, and most recipies dont fit the eating style here. Also it would be great to have the ability to use metric system

    We have added better visibility for rest blocks to your trainer while building workouts. You can tap on these rest blocks to start the timer to coundown (ie. 30s rest).

    If your trainer is not making use of this feature, please let him know to add the inline rest timers for you.

    Option to send videos to a coach to check technique of movements and get feedback.
