To be able to run an online coaching programme such as daily/weekly videos, lessons. Be able to assign clients to those lessons

I agree, progressive load is about progressive volume and there is no way to check that than manually. It will be best to be able to track volume based on a selected group of exercises. For instance we "tick" the exercises we want to count towards volume and be able to track progress over a specified period of time.
