It seems unlikely that a meal plan would be generated where the client likes every single ingredient. It should be easy to quickly edit a recipe by removing or swapping ingredients. The app's nutrition features are quite limited, and I agree that the $45 add-on isn't worth it. This is likely why those features aren’t available during the free trial—you need to upgrade to access them. Anyone looking to provide meal plans for their clients would probably steer clear of this software for this reason. I also have another software subscription, and the reality is, if I wanted to keep Trainerize, I'd have to keep the other software too for the nutrition planning side, which would be very expensive, especially once i get over 15 clients and they increase the nutrition price from 5 dollars to 45. It's a shame, though, because this app has so much potential if they could just fix the nutrition offering.

It might be helpful to add an icon below the meal, next to the 'swap meal' icon, allowing clients or coaches to easily report issues with any recipes. I just started using the software yesterday and noticed some recipes that included an unusually high number of eggs or egg whites in a few recipes, as the user mentioned below

The main reason i'm considering not staying with trainerize is for this reason. It's the ONLY thing in my opinion that lets it down. I have at least two short clients, 1400 would barely get them in a deficit. Perhaps the system could link the meal generator to the height or perhaps you only allow those with professional credentials/ qualifications to apply for this lower calorie feature? Seriously disappointing that your software can't do this.
