Have different daily macro goals for different days or workout / non-workout days for carb cycling
I do a lot of competition prep and within prepping meal plans. It would be great to set up different macro and calorie intake goals for different days out of the week. Because it would allow my clients to fully understand carb cycling. For now I have uploaded a pdf version of the meal plan showing that but would be great if that can be adjusted as well when it comes to programming it within your platform.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for your great suggestion! We've added this to our work queue/raodmap. We'll post further updates here as our teams pick it up to work on it.
Please come back to ideas.trainerize.com to add your vote to other ideas.

Hi everyone,
Thank you for continuing to share your insights and for expressing just how valuable this feature would be to your workflow. We completely understand the impact it could have and truly appreciate your patience as you wait for updates.
While this request has been marked as 'planned', signaling that it’s on our product team’s radar. It hasn’t yet progressed to the next stage of development. We understand it’s been a while, and we know many of you have been waiting a long time.
In the meantime, I wanted to highlight a few approaches that some users have found helpful as interim solutions. For instance, Custom Habits can be set up to reflect specific nutrition goals for different days, such as "Low Carb Day – under 50g." You can also reinforce these strategies with supportive content via PDF attachments (via message, or meal plan PDF) to guide clients through the adjustments on workout versus rest days.
While these options may not meet all your needs just yet, they’ve proven to be practical and effective in bridging the gap for many, and we hope they can help support your coaching in the short term.
We’ll keep collecting your feedback and will be sure to share updates as they become available. Thank you again for your continued patience and understanding.

It looks like this has been pending for several years- is there any update?? I should not have assumed this was a functionality of the app before I converted my clients to this platform.

Please put this as priority. Most of apps have it and it would be awesome to have this feature in Trainerize.
What is the current status? The idea is from 2018, it was put in the work roadmap in 2022 and we are about to wrap up 2024... -

Have we got any updates to this at all please? Thank you

Just following up on previous comment about when this would be applied to the app. This should be a priority in my opinion. This is something trainers use with their clients all the time. Other training apps have it. So it can be done.

I would like the ability to set a carb or calorie cycling goal for clients. For example Mondays the goal is 100 g carbs 150 protein 50 g fat. Tuesdays goal is 150 g carbs 150 g protein, 40 g fat etc.....

This is one of the most important aspects to nutrition. Please do this ASAP. I can't think of anything else I'd rather seen done with trainerize.

This is so important in my opinion. Being able to set low carb high carb days. More calories on weekends etc. this surely would be top priority for client compliance? Any updates? Thanks.

Hi Trainerize team!
I highly suggest we make the ability to set different macros for different days for our clients.
I was able to have some clients switch over to the in app meal tracker, which they loved, but then asked to switch back to MFP because they couldn't set different macro targets.
This would be a HUGE win for all of our clients and would also so incredibly helpful for us coaches.
I feel like I may actually be willing to BEG for this to be bumped to the top of your priority list, as it would knock out MFP and also help us to retain clients on our app.
THANK YOU!

What's the status on this feature being added?
Currently, I'm not using Trainerize for macros with any client I have on a carb cycle due to this missing feature. I've been having them fill out a spreadsheet instead.
It would be great if I could have all my clients log their nutrition in here - even those that have different macros on different days.

I would like to be able to set different calorie goals for different days for clients. Some who need higher food goals on workout days

A flexibility in building the plan from day to another based on the training, so I can give one day 1500 calorie with 3 meals and 1 snack and the other day its 2000 calorie with 4 meals and 2 snacks

Please add this feature asap, this would really help me add refeed days into a client's nutrition program, which are essiential for continual weight loss. Plus a lot of my weight loss clients just prefer to eat less on the weekends so they have more calories available on the weekends. Currently I get my clients to use other nutrition tracking apps like MFP because you don't have this feature, but if you added this feature I would get ALL my clients to track their calories via Trainerize.

Hey, I prescribe some of my clients high and low calorie days, whether they're training or doing a Refeed on the weekend. It would be good to include this so the meal plan is not the same calorie allowance throughout.

Allow to assign different calorie goals for different days - ie rest days / training days
