food tracker
Instead of seeing the calories remaining on the daily habit, see the calories eaten instead.
I.e. Instead of
1800 calories - 276 remaining
say
1800 calories - 1524 eaten

Make it so we can see a whole week of food log, macros, and fiber in one area vs having to click on each individual day
It's very time consuming and hard to get an overall picture when we have to go day by day to look at their food - we need to see at least 1 full week at a time

In-App Nutrition Access for Coaches/Trainers
I would love to be able to log my own meals with photos so I can share in the experience together with my clients! Lead by example!

Toggle through days on Meal Tracker & Have client name on meal tracker pop-up screen
I would love to be able to click forward and backward from days past to days future so I can view and comment on multiple days at once. Also, when the clients meal pops up in the screen, it would be helpful if their name was also listed on that pop up so I don't forget who I'm talking to when commenting on meals.

Picture taken of meal and AI generates serving size and calorie breakdown
!PLEASE READ! I just found out on track GPT4, there's a new feature where you can take a picture of the meal and then it will give you an estimation of the breakdown of what was in it. I took a picture of a bowl with rice and beans and it broke it down to show one cup of cooked rice and then half a cup of kidney beans, and it tells you the exact calories, carbs, fats, and protein. is if it was possible, if clients click meals, if they can take a picture of that rice and then…

Bring the add custom food function away from the advanced nutrition paywall and into the app as a basic function
The ability to add foods into a incomplete database shouldn't be locked behind a $50 paywall.

Make it simpler!
Make it easier to document food instead of making it a two or three step process with skipping the photo, then selecting the meal, then choose whether it's for dinner or lunch, etc. Let the plus sign automatically add the food in just like myfitnesspal.

Simplify into Calories and Protein goal.
People get overwhelmed in being perfect with macro %. when in reality for the majority all they need to focus on is total calories and protein goals. % macros is not needed for most.

Remove Nutrition Target for Clients Switching from Numerical Targets to Food Journal
Get rid of the daily nutrition targets when switching clients from macro/calorie targets to just meal photos/food journal. I switched one of my clients to just meal photos and food log, but their calorie and macro targets are still showing up. It would be nice to be able to get rid of them altogether, and maybe instead have a personal message from the trainer about what their nutrition goals for the day with their food log/journal.

Add a tracker for foods that are off app menus and the ability to add and track meals and ingredients created by the trainer or client
It would be good to have a tracker that functions like myfitnesspal where you can add your own ingredients and be able to combine them with the existing menus. or to simply be able to add your own menus in the app

Allow Coach to set marco %
Am I missing something? I can't believe there's no way for me to change the marcos

The app should remember what meals the client input in the past so they can pull it up and enter it quickly and easily.
Every meal tracking app remembers what items clients have entered in the past. This app should have the same functionality so clients can just pull up their recent items and choose items they eat regularly instead of manually inputting every item every time.

Larger and more accurate food database
The in-app food database needs to be larger and more accurate for most common/generic foods.
It's way easier to coach someone on how to accurately measure/track their nutrition when you don't have to worry about coaching them just to find the accurate entry in the database.7 votes -
Analyzing data more efficiently
Easier way to analyze nutrition information more efficiently (micro and macronutrients) on one page.

Have the option to turn off the calories/protein/or full macro when assigning the client track meal details option.
I’d like this option when the client doesn’t want to track yet or when a client is just food journaling.

Protein tracking is inaccurate.
You can only process 25 grams or so of protein at once. The app allows you to enter 50+ grams of protein in one meal and tracks it as a straight protein intake. Protein intake should be capped per meal.
Every gymbro knows you can't triple up on protein shakes and have 75 grams of protein at once!

Coach's Ability to Edit In-App Tracking System
The ability for a coach to add a food into a client's meal tracker or even edit can be helpful in educating the client. Maybe have a way where the client and coach can see the difference between what the client tracked and what the coach has added/edited.

Allow clients to create custom recipes and track by serving
Give clients the ability to create recipes, add number of servings per recipe, then track servings as meals for better accuracy.
Personal recipes can be created the same way as a custom meal, but with all the ingredients for the whole recipe. Clients can then save to "favorites" or access in "recent" then have the option of making the meal a "recipe" with the option for adding number of servings. The app will then calculate the calories and nutrition for each serving. When they track as a "meal", they can choose the number of servings they ate just like they…

Ability to see what the client sees FULLY on tracker
I hate when I can’t explain how to do something because the coach view of the meal tracking isn’t the exact same as the client facing! For as expensive as this add on is - it’s kind of crazy I can’t see it myself.
