Provide the ability to import historic body stats data using simple CSV files.
When you are moving to a new platform such as trainerize and you want to make use of all your existing data. Bulk importing body stats and training results by CSV is the easiest way. If you can provide import capability then it makes it much easier to switch.
This would be great for people using excel files from before or for people using InBody .

Importing Programs via CSV into Trainerize
Manually building out multi-week training programs inside Trainerize can take hours of copy-pasting — especially when you’re programming for multiple clients. But with the CSV import feature, you can streamline the entire process:
✅ Time-Saving – Instead of entering each exercise one by one, you can build your full program in Excel or Google Sheets and upload it directly into Trainerize. A 12-week plan that normally takes 2–3 hours to input can be live in just a few minutes.
✅ Consistency & Accuracy – Every rep, set, rest period, and note transfers exactly as written. This eliminates typos and ensures your clients are following the program you designed without error.
✅ Scalable Programming – Whether you’re training 1 client or 50, CSV import makes it simple to roll out structured programs at scale. Perfect for challenges, group programs, or templated training blocks.
✅ Flexibility – You can structure your program phases (Warm-Up, Strength, Conditioning, Core, Cool Down) in Excel exactly how you want them. Trainerize will mirror that layout, giving your clients a clean and professional training flow.
✅ Professional Edge – Delivering detailed, periodized programs through the app — without delays — shows your clients that you run an organized, efficient, and high-quality coaching service.
💡 Imagine this: Instead of spending your weekend building workouts into Trainerize, you upload one CSV file and have a complete 12-week progressive program ready to assign to clients instantly. More time for coaching, connecting, and growing your business. -

It would be extremely helpful to have the ability to upload a CSV file containing all of Client A’s workouts, with custom workouts mapped to the appropriate fields. Once uploaded, the system would use the metadata in the CSV to automatically populate the correct workout names, descriptions, sets/reps, and associated exercise videos.
This would significantly streamline the process of onboarding new clients or importing structured programs, especially for coaches managing multiple clients or larger-scale programs.
