Add a daily reminder to the calendar, or schedule daily habits
The ability to set up simple habits for clients to follow and track adherence to i.e. Yes/No to Getting protein at a meal time.
Apps like Habit Bull on Android or websites like Coachific are great examples of these.
Hi all,
The habits feature is currently in open beta. You can turn it on by going to Add-ons > Integrations and scroll down to the bottom section “Beta Labs”.
You can turn on the habit module from there.
Habits v1 will go live in Q1. v1 focuses on prescribing custom habits to individual clients.
Your vote has been returned to you. Feel free to suggest new ideas for the habits module back on the ideas.trainerize.com.
Thanks!

Yesssssss, also would love to see an option to make each month a theme which we can customize. Such as June (Strength month) etc.

This would be awesome! I have clients that have doctors appointments that closely relate to our program and this would be really helpful for me to keep track of.

this would be huge. PT Distinction has a habit tracking and adherence tracking option in their app so that would be great for Trainerize!

I want to be able to change the name on the general workout so that it can say what they did. For example yoga, tennis. So they can track all their workouts.

This would be very useful, and as simple as adding an option labeled "appointment" or "custom" and having a 'notes' box. This option would go where we already go to assign a workout, upload progress photo, etc.

Great idea! I pay extra for the PN ProCoach platform would love to have this option in 1app rather than multiple apps. Which gets confusing to new clients... this should definately be a feature..behavior change is extremely important part of training

I do this by creating a workout with a General Exercise. Then tell them to check in so you can see that they did it.

Would love this as well! Currently I enter all habits as a "workout" so they can still check-in, but clients don't like to "get credit for a workout" when its really a habit. :) It would be great to have workouts, cardio and habits as options. Thanks!

I would like to be able to assign other things to clients on the calendar.
For instance, I would like to be able to put their in person appointments or coaching calls on the calendar. I also give them other things to focus on like getting 8 hours of sleep or prepping meals, etc. I would like to be able to make a a custom note on their calendar with a reminder that can say anything I want it to say. -

There are some habits or tasks that I often need my clients to do, and it would be helpful to have the option adding these to their calendar. It could be an options along with the other in the calendar more. Possibly the options of "Other" with a text entry box.

With behavior change coaching becoming more popular, add ability to set goals, for example x number of exercise sessions per week or number of times per week they had 5 servings of vegetables. short term and long term plans towards the same goals

Agreed! I use Precision Nutrition also and would love to get their new ProCoach software but it would be nice to have everything in one piece of software. I have yet to see a fantastic overall client to trainer interface that encompasses everything. Trainerize is the best I've seen at a reasonable price, just missing habit tracking.

Give trainers the ability to assign client habits and have clients check off completed habits each day, habit streaks, etc.

Nutrition is key, and "meal plans" are outdated and an unrealistic way to achieve long term success for most begginers.
Good coaches today work on habits. I personally use the Precision Nutrition 7 habits for fat loss success and would encourage everyone to try those first with their clients before even considering jumping on a "meal plan".
I would like to see Trainerize getting more involved with what modern coaches are using today by incorporating a "Habit Tracking" feature.

Develop a way to allow trainers to input specific habits pertaining to healthy living or fat loss for our clients to track. They would be reminded via email or text of their daily habit and have to check in with it, just like a workout. Habits such as "ate slowly", "drank 8 glasses of water", "ate until 80% full" would be so helpful for the client to stay on target and gain more success! Accountability is key and this would provide a one stop shop for the clients to do that, instead of downloading an additional app like HabitBull.

I would love this! These are the extra pieces of the puzzle that clients really need, and if they had one spot to get it all, it would make it much easier for them.

I love Habit Bull too! It's what I recommend to clients but would much rather have them use one software that can do both via trainerize. Seems like a simple option to add?
