Sync steps and other information from Fitbit
Hi everyone,
Closing out this idea as this can already be done in the app.
We’re returning your vote to you so please come back to ideas.trainerize.com to add your vote to other ideas.

can you manually enter steps as client on the trainerize app?

This would be so great, not only is it a great target for clients to hit their steps for accountability, it also makes us as a coach more easy to calculate clients' calorie goals based on their ACCURATE daily activity, not what they report. As we know, many clients overestimate how active they are and daily steps is a brilliant way to be sure how much they move.

Sync the steps already! It is hard to recommend Trainerize and its ability to sync with fitbit to other fitness pros when I cannot see my clients steps!!!

If you are already syncing with Fitbit then steps should be a given!! Not sure what else people really use them for other then tracking step count to calculate NEAT or general activity.

A must have!!! If you are promoting the integration of Fitbit the client has to be able to sync steps

My Trainereze is not communicating with my fitbit app...does not transfer information, ive exercised 4 days this week and its only showing ONE!! Icant get feedback from my trainer without accurate data. COME ON!!! This is really frustrating!

People have been asking for this for years and still nothing. It already syncs with fitbit, yet the data it receives is useless. Give us the ******** steps so we get an idea of NEAT!

YES! STEPS IS A REALLY EASY GOAL FOR CLIENTS TO AIM FOR!

The main reason most people get FitBits is to monitor activity. For me, I develop strength training programs for my clients which obviously is tracked in Trainerize. I also assign cardio goals and my clients often forget to do that. This is IMPERATIVE to client success. So, any way to automatically get information on client movement helps us trainers and the clients. Also, it is a great selling feature for me to sell Trainerize to my clients - it would make Trainerize "one stop shopping" (all physical fitness info under one roof)

I AGREE! My clients are begging for more information to be synced to the app from their Fitbit. This conversation has been going on for 2 years now! LOL time to add this feature!

Step count and workouts!

Adding step count to the Fitbit connection seems like a "no-brainer". It would add so much value to this app. Right now it is tracking resting heart rate, which to me isn't nearly as useful as step count. It's already connected so why not add the step count? Should be an easy fix.

This suggestion was made on June 09, 2016 and still hasn't been added. I think this would be a great feature!

YES! 1000%. Getting step count (at a minimum) would be great. Asking clients to manually enter their step count into a custom exercise program for step count kinda defeats the purpose of this fancy data collecting app in my opinion.

Tracking their actual daily activity would be great. Totally agree.

This would add more value to the Fitbit and give the trainer a weath of information about the clients workouts both cardio and strength if it syncs that info.

I agree 100000 percent. It really is necessary when training people virtually because in general people are very unaware of their activity level and whatever they tell you is based on perception only. Unless we have the data!
