Virtual group training
Provide a way to add multiple clients to the same session who will share the same training plans and calendar for a certain period of time (i.e. 7 days, 30 days) like what is done for group challenges.
HI everyone,
Happy to announce we’ve completed this idea. Thanks for supporting the idea everyone.
If you notice in your web app, there is an additional section called Programs. you can now subscribe your clients to programs.
If you wish to do virtual group training (like intakes or bootcamps), you can create a new Training Group and everyone in the group will follow the same program at the same time.
If you wish to have people start at any time, or subscribe to different programs, you can certainly subscribe them directly to a program, but just put them into a regular Fitness Community group.
We hope you enjoy this feature.
Many of you have commented about challenges too. You may wish to vote and leave your comments on this thread for us:

Please keep your ideas coming! Thanks!

Begining able to group my clients really helps me keep track of competitors, ppl who are on weightloss plan, and ppl who are on a weight gain plan

I train almost completely in small group personal training.
I want to be able to provide a calendar to my clients that has has all the same workouts. Then, I can go back in and tweak the workouts for people who need modifications. -

Look into Virtuagym and how they have group challenges, stats, leader boards, and badges. This is a bigger deal then most people might thing because from that you can sell them on these challenge groups. An example would be a biggest loser type of contest $100 bucks to join and then winner gets money, or sessions, etc. Too much to write, but def check their software setup on that. I like your software better, but that is such a big tool.

That would be awesome! Could you also add some sort of discussion forum (one for each group you create) and ranking board? Thanks! Like Exercise.com, but better! ;-)

I'm not as worried about group training with them interacting but I would like to have the ability to enter multiple clients at once and put them all on the same plan.

Sounds similar to what I need. I would like to be able to make a workout, for multiple people, that is the SAME, to be trained, in person, at the same time, and then send it to the Calendar, for all, at one time. Instead, I have to copy it to each persons Program, then switch into them, one at a time, and add it to the calendar. It's very time consuming.

On top of that allow me to create "groups" so that I can place multiple people into a group so that I just have to copy this work out into 1 group instead of handing picking each person individually. This would allow me to give people a much more varied work out program without as much back end work. People will not get bored doing the same routine and can follow exactly what I do on an everyday basis.

I would like to be able to group clients based on goals as others have mentioned, but I would also like to group clients into peer groups whether it be for small group training or for corporate wellness programs. A "group" wouldn't necessarily mean the people are doing the same workout (although it could and that's useful functionality) but it would mean the people are associated in some way. This would allow us to better streamline the workouts and additional resources provided to these groups. Whethere it is incorporating a group page or simply "marking" the clients as such like you can for your cell phone contacts wouldn't matter a ton. Hope this helps.

I would group clients buy the package they bought into. And I would like to send each group a premade template. And they wouldn't necessarily have a start date. It might start on the first Monday after they sign up.

Being able to put the clients into catergories such as 'fat loss' '10k running' 'diabetes' etc.
Also a group chat would be great so clients can interact with each other.

I agree. Would be great to differentiate between fat loss/muscle gain/sport specific/wedding etc clients

Hi. I was hoping the new app would include this but it appears not to. I'm getting close to 30 clients now, and it can be difficult organising clients. Are there plans to offer folders or client grouping?

The option to group the clients would be great. I have program where several clients start on the same program together and progress through. It would be a wonderful time-saver to be able to assign a workout plan to a group all at once, instead of having to individually do so. This inclusion would definitely persuade me to upgrade to a paying plan.

-when new client added, have option to put person into a "group", then when you update the groups workout (rather than copying to every individual by typing in each name....might miss someone!)
-send out messages to group (instead of typing in every name...might miss someone!)
-upload from excel to tranerize a batch of names with identified fields (e.g. email, first name, last name) rather then one by one OR integrate with stripe payment platform to automatically put people into a group based on payment link completed -

Being able to group clients and have fitness challenges.
This would be a great feature when it comes to weight loss competitions that might be held.

I have several training "programs" that I use Trainerize for and have the need to "group" or "filter" my clients by program so I can focus on a specific area at a time. I currently work around this by using different "Trainers" but it is pretty annoying and time consuming because they have different email log-ins (which I have to jump to each in order to check messages). I do however really like the fact that my email updates are separated.
I would like to have a cleaner way to group or categorize clients. Here is the functionality I would like:
* Be able to view clients online and in app by each "group".
* Still be able to get by "group" email updates daily and weekly.
* Be able to trigger on/off which "groups" will message notify under which coach.
Thanks,
Rob -

The program copy feature from client to client is great... IF the person you're copying FROM only has a FEW workouts saved in their account and you are copying the EXACT same dates for each client.
However, after the first month of training a client, i was unable to use this feature because it limits the number of workouts you can copy over... the most frustrating part is that NOT ALL of a clients workouts NEED to be copied... only the ones for the selected time frame being copied... but it tries to copy them all anyway!! this creates duplicate workout routines and hidden workouts... whatever those are??Also, it's not possible to have a "beginner" workout schedule template for brand new clients, because if the dates differ at ALL, the system freaks out and schedules them all over the place! has any one else experienced this frustration??
i would love to be able to set up groups... for example all my ladies with a similar goal go into a group together... and when i create a new workout for that group, i can send it or schedule it onto a certain day... and it automatically schedules it for ALL clients in that group at the same time! is there any way we can make this seemingly SIMPLE concept possible??? PLEASE!!!
