I would love a feature in trainerize to where clients can purchase a program that I've created as an automated thing and do it on their own. This is so I can generate more income on a passive level for those who need less hands on support. This feature should include automated emailing too.

This is now currently possible with Trainerize Pay Beta.
You can build products and sell them on your Trainerize.me page.
On purchase, you can also attach various automated actions to either subscribe someone to a program or join a training group.

the actions in zapier are all canned as well. its not obvious how to automate a 14-day free trial, monthly recurring billing, meal plan, workout plan -- everything is done automatically. I even have it setup where the client can cancel their subscription with zapier any guidance would behelpful

Could the person who used zapier please post a little bit of info how they did this in zapier. The triggers seem limited.

I've created this system with Trainerize. Just use Zapier to automatically do everything for you when a client signs up. I have a 14-day free trial, monthly recurring billing, meal plan, workout plan -- everything is done automatically. I even have it setup where the client can cancel their subscription, completely hands-off on my end.

This. Please. Would also like to see this lead to a way to offer a free trial period, mostly automated so potential clients can experience the app and what a coach has to offer. I know that PT Distinction is capable of this, but I am a bigger fan of the Trainerize UI.

PT Distinction does this really we'll, that is why I am still with them and not converted to Trainerize yet. With PTD I can create an entire 6 month program with videos, training, assessments, checkins, emails, pdfs and messages being sent to them at any particular time I want. E.g. day 1 fill and sign par-q form, watch intro video. Day 2, first day of training 6am, do a measure up ans weight in, watch progress photo how to video and do measure up. Etc. Automation like this allows potential clients to sign up on their own, pay, start training and I don't have to do anything!
