Add a "General" category to the Exercise Type dropdown, or don't force a choice
I am adding custom exercises to my library that fit into other categories, such as "mobility", "stretching" "warmup", etc. I find it frustrating to be forced to choose between categories like "Strength: Reps & Weights", etc. when they don't apply. I'm not forced to tag a main body part, so would like to not be forced to choose an Exercise Type - unless I could customize it.

The further I get into this, the more this becomes a big hurdle. For sport specific training, mobility, etc., it would be easiest to have no tracking boxes at all, just the ability for notes.

Still hoping for something like this. This and the inability to leave notes while in the mobile app are the two things I have the hardest time working around.

I would love to be able to customize the exercise category field, as well as the tracking parameters, or choose to not use one or the other.

Hey guys,
Looking into this. So for a "General" exercise, do you guys just want them to perform it but not track it in that case?

Yes definitely! I chose 'cardio' for my mobility warm up then saw when I went to print the tracking sheets that it listed loads of things to record. I just need space for them to say they have completed the warm up!

This is essential. It takes away from the usability to have to "fit" in a category that does not really apply.

I agree, some things do not fall into the default categories. Either add more as noted above or allow for us to add our own.

This should be an easy fix!
