Weekly average weight
We need to have a seperate daily & weekly average weight metric tracker, not attached to measurements.
At present if we ask clients to take a daily weight it will also ask them to take daily measurements.
We need to be able to take daily weight, then ask for weekly average weight & certain measurements of choice (decided by coach & client)
Hi everyone,
Thanks for your great suggestion! We’ve added this to our work queue. We’ll post further updates here as our teams pick it up to work on it.
Please come back to ideas.trainerize.com to add your vote to other ideas.
Thanks!

Having average for other metrics like heart rate, sleep, etc. Thanks!

It would also be useful if we can get a weight average for the week or able to export the data into a spread sheet

WEEKLY AVERAGE OF WEIGH-ins. Make it easier to see progress. Currently I’m using sheets, that’s just nonsense…

Yes to this! The amount of times I have to explain to clients that they need to look at their average weight rather than their last weigh-in... but they have to manually work out the average! My clients only take their weight once a week so seeing a monthly average would be great as well.

What’s the update on this? How do we speed the process?

Jade McKee commented
Yes! Would save so much time if we could input date ranges for the average to be between.

I manually calculate weekly averages for all clients on a weekly basis... It takes me 3-4 hours a week. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make this one happen soon. It is the one thing that Trainerize does not have that it really should. This is a big one.

I'm over here manually calculating weight average & it's a pain. Please make this happen

Also heavily voting on this one.
Automatically calculating the weekly average weight is the biggest missing feature in Trainerize in my opinion.
Could save one hours a week depending on the amount of clients.
Please make this happen :)

It would be VERY helpful to have a function that internally calculates all tracked weigh ins for the week together and gives out the weekly average weight.
I guess that this will also be very helpful to lots of other trainers as many take the weekly average as comparison instead of the daily as it's a lot more reliable.
Thanks :)

Can we have a way to see the weekly average gain or loss for body weight as a part of the dash board.
Clients will easily get triggered by daily fluctuations, and so by having an average to focus on they can see the progress less confusing and instead of saying drop 1kg (which can happen overnight) we can give targets such as drop 1% of your body weight per week (which is based on the average of all weight entries).

This would be nice. Separating the Weight from other Body Measurements would be a great change. Then adding more options for checking weight averages and weight changes would help us track progress even better with our clients.

Yes please!

Customization would be preferred, though I only have people track body composition stats once every 6-12 weeks so any difference it makes would be minimal for me.

I agree being able to see the average weight loss makes the app so much easier, it should be a standard especially in gauging the progress of the client

Add a feature that takes the average bodyweight of the client each week and shows you the net change in bodyweight week after week.

I think a great feature would be the ability to export weigh ins to a google sheet, or to automatically track the clients 7 day average.

Two years since this was suggested. Let’s do this!!
