Allow a video loop to keep playing while the timer keeps running

Allow video playing while the timer keeps running.

For Interval training is a big handicap to stop the timer to see the video...specially fot HIT workouts that need short bursts and flow.

Is reaaly a big issue, many clients left the app due to this problem!
Please check this option ASAP ! Thanks in advance

The new interval timer with looping videos is slowly rolling out but you can manually turn it on via your settings > Advanced > Enable New Interval Workouts. Currently the looping videos are only for Trainerize videos only.

    Just echoing what the community has said about the needs for this feature. We have been live for a couple of weeks on Trainerize and this is the #1 emphasized suggestion we have received. This would really elevate the entire (already amazing) experience of using the app!

    My clients have expressed that they find it troublesome that videos of the assigned workouts do not play during the workouts. If the client forgets the movement, they must hit the "play" button on the video, which then pauses the workout and causes the client to lose momentum.

    It would be nice for custom videos to continue playing throughout the duration of the workout...particularly for Interval workouts.

    Hope this is done ASAP! Puts a huge damper on the workout having to pause, play video and restart! Any idea of when this will be completed?

    An even better alternative is to have option of a GIF running as a loop for the given exercise. If more detail is needed client could go to longer video.

    Not just interval workouts, if posible for all workouts. It’ll make it that much easier for clients and more efficient! This is my second comment!

    When clients click on a workout to complete, it would be less confusing and more convenient for them if the video demonstration would auto play rather than having to click on each video to view (aside from interval style workouts)

    When my clients are doing an interval workouts or timed workout, they want to lock their phone and put it in their pocket and only hear the timer/prompts. Right now they have to keep the phone unlocked and open otherwise it pauses the workout.
