Show weekly/monthly calories / macro averages in nutrition graph
I would love to be able to adjust the nutrition graph overview by date range and view overall averages of each metric (macros/calories). This would be super helpful to have a clearer picture of whether our clients are tracking and hitting their goals effectively through each week.
For example, if I want to see a client's nutrition data for 1 week, I should be able to set date ranges (i.e. 5/10/2020 - 5/16/2020) and see their daily numbers but also see the averages as well.
Hi everyone,
Thanks for your great suggestion! We’ve added this to our work queue. We’ll post further updates here as our teams pick it up to work on it.
Please come back to ideas.trainerize.com to add your vote to other ideas.
Thanks!

This would be a GREAT FEATURE! Much easier for the client to see the big picture as well!

Would love it if Trainerize could add this feature! Manually tallying up each clients daily calories on my own calculator every Friday and dividing by 7 takes me like 3-4 hours which could be spent on more important things like program design and coaching calls. I’m considering hiring a virtual assistant to do this for me and just sending me the totals if a better alternative isn’t available soon.

This is a huge pain right now. 99% of PT ***** on a weekly basis and using this platform is supposed to make our jobs easier. It is certainly making my harder when I am having to also keep an excel spreadsheet to see the big picture as far as averages for the week. It does me no good to see individual days. It should be a quick and easy add on to the dash section. It will also be beneficial for the client as MOST clients go crazy on the weekend and they should be able to see a balance of macros left for the week.

This needs to be done ASAP. also, we need the client to have a dashboard of their weekly average so that they can monitor how they are doing during the week. Most average people do not commit enough to counting macros to do it consistently and accurately everyday. Most people let loose on the weekend and having the weekly average can help them see how much they can "let loose". We need weekly average calories and weekly average macros.

This is a must! I have to calculate weekly averages manually for clients who are really focusing on specific goals. I'd love if trainerize could do that for us! I am all about having an indulgent day if you meet your weekly calorie / macro goals so this would be amazing!

Also, being able to share these graphs with clients

The nutrition graphs are helpful, but it would be great if we could view calorie and macro averages over the course of a week and a month to see trends better.

Daily Macro setting would be better. Or at least three option. We do lots of daily macro ratio changes with our elite level athletes to achieve optimal composition...

Weekly Average Bodyweights and/or moving Average bodyweight will give your coaches the most basic, standard, fundamental tool that every coach who uses excel spreadsheets utilizes.
It should have been in there from day 1. -

Trainerize absolutely needs this.=)
Any single weigh-in says nothing compared to a 7 day average weigh in.
Comparing week 1 average weigh-in with week 2 average weigh-in to week 3 average-weigh etc gives us so much helpful information.
Either that and/or a moving average like someone else mentioned

Having the ability to see the weekly averages of a client's calories/macros & bodyweight. Weekly averages are more important than just seeing the days.
Averages for the week matter most for progress as calories/body weight and steps vary day to day, like training or rest days or life in general. This also helps with client adherance as they don't get too obsessed with the numbers on a day to day basis.
For example, low calorie days for rest days and higher calorie days on training days. As long as the averaged calories are within the client's calories/macros target.
Bodyweight fluctuates day to day and should be averaged anyway.
This also helps clients who are obsessed with the scale and to understand that fluctuations are normal. -

I would love to be able to look at a week or month’s worth of nutrition data to be able to tell a client how close they were to their goals in percent form (i.e. last week you were at about 80%, how can we get that closer to 90% this week?). This would also help clients see their weekly averages, so they could more clearly understand why eating well during the week and binging on the weekend is going to lead to slower progress (in most cases).

It would be very useful to see the weekly view of calories/macros which can be seen in MyFitnessPal so I can recommend to my clients to fail back Cals or inc to stay within their set goals

This is imperative to how I modify my client's nutrition and give feedback using average body weight and average calories.
