Google Fit (Google Health Connect) integration
Without having a Fitbit, there seems to be no way for an Android device to sync fitness data to the app at all. Google fit talks to pretty much everything else but not this. There seems to be no way around it, either I buy an iPhone, or I buy a Fitbit.

This would be hugely useful for my clients to help track everything in the one app, if samsung could be paired. It would also mean your app holds more data and gets large use and footfall. Win/win for everyone, get it released.

Being able to connect a Galaxy Watch to use the Samsung Health/Wear OS health tracking is a must.

Hi Everyone! Thank you all for subscribing and supporting this idea. Building out an integration to support Google/Android wearables is something we've lacked and I'm happy to announce that we have a few updates:
- Google has recently made some changes, which now requires apps like Trainerize to integration with their new Google Health Connect service to gather health and activity data.
- With this change from Google, we'll be able to pull in health and activity data from a variety of Android compatible devices (ex Samsung Health, Fitbit, Oura, Withings) that can be connected to Google Health Connect.
- We are currently working on an integration with Google Health Connect that will be coming later this year!As we get further along with the development, we will post updates on this idea.

From experience this might be also an issue from the Samsung side (Samsung not providing an API to export this data). In this case it'd be awesome if Trainerize could point this out so that this community makes pressure on the right place. The reason I say this is because even to share my Samsung data directly with my trainer seems to be hard.

No samsung support after more than 2 years of their users asking for it is kind of embarrassing and lazy, please add asap

SUPPORT SAMSUNG HEALTH AND WATCH!!! This has been being requested and most voted for literally YEARS now. I am so disappointed in the lack of concern from the app creaters. If my trainer didn't use this app I would never!!

Seems odd that Samsung watches are not integrated into the app - nor does it seem to be on the horizon

Can this be added as I feel restricted of using the app to its full potential due to not being able to sync

Currently I have no way to input my steps manually cause the app does not connect with a Samsung smart watch. So the idea is to be able to put in your steps if this function cannot be automated for Samsung watch owners
