Google Fit (Google Health Connect) integration
Without having a Fitbit, there seems to be no way for an Android device to sync fitness data to the app at all. Google fit talks to pretty much everything else but not this. There seems to be no way around it, either I buy an iPhone, or I buy a Fitbit.

I started taking on clients from outside of the US who predominantly use androids. About to move to a different app that supports Samsung watches. This is lame especially since you still have an article posted that says “support coming in several weeks” …. From 2022

Please explain why we can't connect our Samsung devices.

I don't need to explain it, you already know. There's thousands of votes for the same thing. Could you at least explain why? We would all like to know why Samsung health isn't included.

It would be so nice to be able to connect my Samsung device to the app. Would make data so much more accurate and following the program much easier

Samsung health connects with My Fitness Pal, but none of the stats show on the app, such as steps. This would be good for android users to sync and get the full view on this app.

Add access to Android health connect app so that any service connected to health connect can sync to trainerize. This way we don't have to wait for you to integrate every service (Samsung health, etc).

Hi Micah,
Thanks for submitting this idea. We already have an idea for supporting Samsung health, so I'm going to merge this idea into that. Once merged, your vote (and the vote of anyone else on this idea) will be added to the new idea and you'll be subscribed to receive any updates that we provide.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Andy

Just switched from Apple to Android. Can't get things to cross over correctly. Even tied fixing myfitnesspal but my steps still won't sync.

I'm sorry but this app sucks. I have a Samsung and it's about time this company allows connection to it. I can't track anything and if it does track then it's wrong. Also have more than food import from myfitness pal. That would help too.

Oura rings are getting more and more popular, especially because they’re covered by HSAs. I really want to get one to replace my Apple Watch, but won’t until it syncs with this app. Strongly recommended you integrate as more and more of your customers will be using Oura rings.
