Take away $1000 limit in Trainerize Pay
A few of our products are over $1000 and in Trainerize Pay we have to send the client 2 invoices of $500. If the limit of $1000 was lifted we wouldn't have to send multiple invoices.
Hi everyone,
Thanks for your great suggestion! We’re marking this idea as completed!
You can now move your Trainerize Pay to a Stripe account and directly connect it to Trainerize.
With the Stripe account,
- you do not have the $1000 limit.
- you get lower rates (Stripe’s official rates)
- flexible payout schedules
- full access to Stripes dashboard and reporting
Simply go to your Payments page and hit Switch. You can create a new account or connect your existing Stripe account.

Any update? Now that there are session packs inside of trainerize it would be very convenient to be able to charge more than $1000 per transaction. if possible, please increase this limit to $10,000

Also, allow the billing date to be alterable (1st, 15th)

This change needs to happen since yesterday.

Please increase the limit! I need a way of selling upfront! I have packages over 10k! it's very unprofessional for me to sell one thing and then break the payments in small chunks.

Based on the Admin comment, this feature should be available now. Can you provide an update as to the status of this feature. I would absolutely use Trainerize Pay if the payment limit was lifted.

I find this pretty poor, to be honest. £1000 is a small figure. The limit should go to at least 5K. I'll be deleting the payment feature until this has changed.

Love the app. But this is the BIGGEST downfall of Trainerize. Who's idea was it to CAP our service at $1000? There should be at least a $5000 limit or no cap at all. Trainerize pay is great for recurring but anything more than a $1000 PIF you'd have to use another payment service which would probably be free anyways vs. paying a monthly fee to use trainerize pay.

There absolutely should be no limit. I was finally ready to fully commit to using TrainerizePay as my one and only payment gateway, but looks like I need to look elsewhere. Big bummer, Trainerize.

Why would you have to apply for this? Will that application come along with another additional fee?
Really, you have no business capping what we charge for our programmes and services.

The $1000 limit to payments is a huge problem for multiple reasons:
1. Selling more than 1 product
2. Selling multiple months at a time
3. Selling to more than one person i.e. families
4. Reinforces the devaluing of PTs
5. This should be at least a $5K limit -

There should no longer be a limit to how much we can charge. Many of us have products well over $1000 and the cap makes it just a little hard to transmit that get paid our worth.

I want to be able to add 2 core products to clients as a core product can not be over $1,000 but I charge $1,297 for 4 months of coaching.
So I would need to add a product of $1,000 and a product of $297 to get my paid in full amount at one given time.
However you cant add 2 core products to a client so that's not an option.
and with the add on product you cant make it a reoccurring payment so if I did the $1,000 core product and then an add on, it still would defeat the purpose since I don't want to have to retake my clients card info after each training cycle.

Why offer payments through your app if you are going to randomly decide the maximum we can charge? $1,000 is way to low for several of my products. Now I can't charge through Trainerize, and have to send them a request through Zelle.

The $1,000 cap has been in here since 2017?! Why hasn't Trainerize corrected this issue? Why would a program tell me how much I can cap a product for anyway? That is ridiculous!

Who decided to put a $1,000 cap on a product??? That is ridiculous. I absolutely charge more than $1,000 for some of my products up front. Fix this STAT!!!!

Increase the amount payable by clients to $5,000.
