How to Make Groups Better w/a Leaderboard & digital badge for the leaders or winners
Leaderboard for groups/digital badge winner
There’s already the ability to make groups. So why not make a Leader Board inside the group or on everyone's home screen that's in that group? The leaders could be determined every week/every 2 weeks/every month/quarter or every year. The top 10 or 5 or 3 get a digital badge and the leader board is based on activity/workouts/logged nutrition/overall compliance etc etc. The winner or winners receive a digital badge and bragging rights. This could go even farther to be used as credits towards discounts on their monthly payment or digital products or merch etc etc(I know that’s lofty but it’s possible). Basically gamify the groups more. I’ve found that groups work best when there is some sort of competition and environment/objective. This whole concept could also be used in a Group A vs. Group B approach.

Apps like Skool and others have amazing features that encourage clients to be active members on the platform.
Trainerize was one of the first to introduce challenges, but currently lacks certain functionality. By upgrading how it motivates clients it could set it apart from other platforms once again.
For example:
For this new upgrade gamificatjon to work trainerize would need to update how it delivers educational content.
It would need an educational portal that allows coaches to build out course content, upload files and share links that are tied to specific tasks and points.
Each client could have a rank or level assigned when they join. As they complete workouts, participate in challenges, do tasks, watch content, and complete courses, their level increases.
We could also incentivize clients to level up by interacting in groups and earning points for being an active member or interacting with others .Extra points could be given for specific tasks, increasing their overall level.
As clients level up, they could earn badges or awards. We, as coaches, could set specific milestones to give clients tangible goals.
Ideally, these milestones would be editable, and could include badges or awards to which we can attach specific prizes or points.
A higher client rank could unlock perks, content, or prizes, giving clients something to constantly work towards.
There could also be a leaderboard showing where the client currently is and the top-ranking clients in that specific group. Two potential fitness related gamificatjon upgrades that could be tied to the point system include:
1. allowing us to set up steps challenges and leaderboards that are actually linked to the clients wearable step count
2. Set up Heart rate zone challenges and leaderboards that are linked to clients HR data zones. (More time spent in higher zones doing workouts = more points )
Nailing this feature would help us build better communities, incentivize clients to be consistent and help motivate them to get results and set trainerize above the competition!
