Workout planning overview for coaches
I’d like to suggest an improvement to the workout programming view for coaches.
It would be extremely helpful if the programming interface worked more like a planner-style board, similar to Microsoft Planner. For example, having a clear overview of all training days in a client’s week (whether that’s 3, 4, or 5 days), where exercises can be easily dragged and dropped between days - just like moving tasks between buckets in Planner.
This kind of visual overview would make it much easier to structure and balance workout splits across the week and ensure proper distribution of muscle groups. Coaches could quickly adjust exercise placement between sessions without needing to open multiple views.
Ideally, the workflow would look like this:
• A planner-style overview showing all workout days and exercises for the week
• Ability to drag and drop exercises between days directly in that overview
• Clicking into a specific workout only when detailed edits are needed (sets, reps, rest, etc.)
• Then returning to the same full weekly overview after editing
Currently, we need to click into each workout individually just to see its contents, and then click again to edit it. This makes it difficult to maintain a clear overview of the weekly split and often requires multiple tabs and a lot of back-and-forth navigation.
A more visual, drag-and-drop planning view would make programming significantly faster and more user-friendly for coaches.
