Allow clients to create custom recipes and track by serving
Give clients the ability to create recipes, add number of servings per recipe, then track servings as meals for better accuracy.
Personal recipes can be created the same way as a custom meal, but with all the ingredients for the whole recipe. Clients can then save to "favorites" or access in "recent" then have the option of making the meal a "recipe" with the option for adding number of servings. The app will then calculate the calories and nutrition for each serving. When they track as a "meal", they can choose the number of servings they ate just like they…

Be able to assess a full week of meals with nutrient information without having to view each day separately.
We should be able to access the food tracking for multiple days without navigating back to dash each time.
241 votesHi,
You voted for a faster way to review client food logs, and a weekly nutrition view is now available in Trainerize.
We’re continuing to improve nutrition tools based on feedback from the community, including ways to make reviewing logged meals and nutrition trends easier.
What’s included:
- Nutrition Center in the Progress tab: View a client’s current nutrition goal, weekly meal logging activity, total calories, and average daily calorie intake.
- Weekly macro breakdowns: See daily macro tracking across the week, plus weekly averages for each macro.
- Additional nutrition insights: When available, review details like top protein sources, water intake, top logged recipes, fiber, sugars, vitamin C, iron, and other key nutrient information.
- Faster day-to-day review: When viewing a specific day of tracked nutrition, you can use the arrows or calendar option to move between days more quickly without backing out and navigating again.

Water Tracker in Ounces
All of my clients track water in ounces not milliliters and they do not know how to convert it without having to go to Google so having the option for ounces or milliliters would be great!
3 votesYou voted for Water Intake Tracking in Ounces. This is available within the app to help monitor daily hydration.
What you can do with the water tracker:
- Log water intake directly in the app to track easily throughout the day
- Clients choose a preferred unit of measurement, oz or ml (go to app settings > units - shown in video below)
- Coaches can assign specific hydration targets for each client

Show macro breakdown per meal (not just calories)
Make macro breakdown per meal vs just total added? For example - here there's are 2 meals added. Overview page lists calories, but once you have more than one meal, you can't see what made up the macros, or where they came from. If a client (or myself) wanted to see where the carbs were coming from (whether it be as an education tool or just to see what was carb dense), we can't tell what foods made up the total carb count and how much. Yes, it's on the single items info when it is being added, but trying…

The ability to click on a food item and see the macros for the different portion sizes once it it already logged.
Once something is logged, I am no longer able to see what is in the food (macro wise). I would like to be able to click on the food and see how the different portion sizes changes the macros. I feel that this will help clients learn what is in the different foods better.

Faster way to view client food logs like a weekly meals view
Trying to view each nutrition log takes forever. Right now you have to open up a persons profile individually, then click calendar, and then you can see.
It would help if there was a way to either have the system automatically send a quick link or snap shot daily in the private message or when you click on private message they should put a Botton at the top where the archive is that allows you to view the food log quickly then go back.
I try to look at clients food logs daily and its very time consuming clicking all…

Self-Adjusting Cal/Macro Breakdown Per Item In Meal Tracker
Currently there is only a cal/macro breakdown of each individual item based on the default serving size, but when you adjust the serving size, you're not able to view the update cal/macro breakdown of that item until it gets added to your daily total.
I think having a self-adjusting cal/macro breakdown with each item in the food tracker that changes based on CUSTOM serving size BEFORE you add it to your diary would be most idea. Just like MFP.
I think this would save our clients a ton of time and frustration.

Ability to choose where a meal gets added when adding a whole meal from discover
Currently, if you add a Meal from the Discover tab, you don't have the option to choose where the meal gets added (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack). You have to go back to your dashboard and edit and change it.

Change the servings to grams, cups, tablespoons etc.
Have the ability to change the serving size to 1 gram, 100 grams, cups, tablespoons etc and easily allow us to change the number of servings like in my fitness pal.
For example
Serving size - 1 gram
Number of servings - 115 (allow us to put whatever number we want)
115 servings of 1 gram = 115 grams.I use this format in my fitness pal whenever "1 gram" is available it allows my clients to basically be as accurate as possible when weighing their food.
We would basically not need my fitness pal if this gets changed ASAP!

Hi everyone,
Thanks for your great suggestion! We’re marking this idea as completed! Please note that meal recipes and it's ingredients are now shown in both imperial and metric system. However, due to complexity of "cups" we did not show alternative to this metric and all the recipes will just be in "cups". Reason being is that system cannot detect whether particular ingredient is solid or liquid and therefore we can't know whether we should translate cups into grams or ml.
We created an idea for any of you who would like to still have cups into grams, and you can vote for that idea so we can see how many requests we gather. Here is the new idea for "cups to grams". Please vote if you wish:

Better Display for food brands
Instead of putting the brand of the food on the same line (making it look like a very long run on sentence), it would be nice to have the brand displayed underneath in a lighter font color (like the serving size amount is displayed).
