Allow clients to create custom recipes and track by serving
Give clients the ability to create recipes, add number of servings per recipe, then track servings as meals for better accuracy.
Personal recipes can be created the same way as a custom meal, but with all the ingredients for the whole recipe. Clients can then save to "favorites" or access in "recent" then have the option of making the meal a "recipe" with the option for adding number of servings. The app will then calculate the calories and nutrition for each serving. When they track as a "meal", they can choose the number of servings they ate just like they would with in-app recipes.
At this time, the custom meal tracking option is inadequate for accurate tracking of clients personal recipes.
They only have the option of tracking recipes from the "discover" section as meals by serving, requesting that I create a custom recipe in the discover section for them to track, or they have to calculate out individual servings for a recipe, then manually track as meal. This leads to inaccurate tracking, a time consuming process on both ends, the need for another app to calculate, and lack of building a meal tracking habit for clients. MFP offers this feature, and it is very effective.
The benefits of adding this feature include:
1. more awareness for client regarding their favorite recipes
2. more agency as clients build meal tracking and planning skills with their own recipes
3. the ability for me as their coach to get more insight into their preferences to help them with healthy swap ideas
4. significantly less complications for meal tracking

I really need this feature for the app. Most of my clients cook meals from scratch & it is frustrating that they can't make a custom recipe & split into 4 portions for example. Like they can in My Fitness pal. I do not really use the Meal Planner as the recipes are not appealing.

Trainerize - can we please get an update on when this feature will be rolled out or when it is planning to be rolled out?? This feature is so critical and it is getting super frustrating to not have this.

This is critical please add this, it will deter people from wanting to use the nutrition features.

This is absolutely essential. I didn't realize clients were not able to do this when I swapped most of them over to the in house meal tracker. I will be swapping all of my clients back to MFP. It makes trainerize app seem ridiculous. This feature is 100% essential. I don't think the in-app tracker should have been rolled out without this feature... crazy

Without this feature, using in the app tracking is totally insufficient. Will have to start tracking in my fitness pal.

I can’t believe this is not an option all ready! It’s absolutely essential

Please add this already, this would be a game changer so much potential with Trainerize, yet they don't keep us in the loop with any new features or updates...

Every new client I have recently added to my roster has asked about this feature and its so frustrating to mention that its not an option. They have come from the WW app and MFP and other platforms alike, whcih allow for this feature. Trainerize needs this! When can we expect this to be implemented?

Yes! This is an ongoing issue and pushes clients to use MyFitnessPal opposed to the In App option.

A way for the client to enter their own ingredients for recipes/meals that they made from scratch.
“Not the custom button”
They may have made a recipe and have no idea how many calories are in a dish/casserole. This feature should allow them to enter all ingredients into the recipe list so they can figure out how many calories are in their portion.

Many of my clients create their own recipes in bulk (meal prep). They struggle with dividing the weekly recipes into serving sizes. Many of them asked me that creating their own meals/ recipes on Trainerize would make tracking so much easier and enjoyable.

This is getting so frustrating! I have SO many clients asking about this feature, and this is a major downfall to this app right now. This is a very basic feature that every single macro tracking app has- Clients are having to use ANOTHER macro tracking app to create a recipe and get the macros calculated, and then they have to upload their calculated macros to here. As coaches, we have the capability to create a recipe and have the macros calculated for us in the Master Programs area- why not clients?

I cook every dinner and some breakfasts. It's the best way to know what I'm eating. This would teach me while I have more control of my diet.

I cook for 2 people and would like to enter all ingredients of the recipe and divide the servings. So if I cook for 2 people the whole recipe is 2000 cals but would like to add this to my meals but only out the 1 serving (1k cals) for myself .

This is the TOP requested feature from my clients! Also the reason I have had some fall off because they get so frustrated trying to figure out their own recipes. WE NEED THIS!

My clients are getting so frustrated without this feature. They would love to be able to import their own recipes like you can in MFP.

Unfortunately the lack of this has driven some of my clients to use OTHER apps outside of trainerize.... :(

My clients would appreciate the ability to create and save their OWN recipes in the app, so they can easily load and say "consumed this meal" for a meal each day. Would love to be able to create and save recipes as a FAVORITE to easily input for my meal tracking on a daily basis. They would also appreciate being able to scale the serving size of that recipe easily by adjusting total grams or ounces of ex: if they input a recipe for homemade soup with chicken breasts or something.
