Exercise Use Stats
Over the years I have created and uploaded duplicate exercises on accident. I want to delete the duplicate, but I don't know if it is being used in one of many workouts and programs that I have created.
It would be a great feature to know if an exercise is being used in a workout or program.
I've made this mistake before. Deleting an exercise and inadvertently deleted part of someone's workout without knowing.

Optimize search keywords for workout library
When I go to search for a specific exercise, majority of the time it does not even remotely pop up first, and I have to scroll to find it anyway. It’s frustrating and time consuming, especially as someone who just started and is still building up their programs on the app. Creating a new exercise from a YT video is basically faster in the long run, because at least you know it’ll pop up first in the future. A little SEO would go a long way.

MORE AT HOME WORKOUTS
We are all stuck inside without a gym, most of our clients only have limited equipment. I have looked through every exercise and you guys do not have some very basic exercises that can be done with a band. Lat Pull down tricep push down, the list goes on. We're going to be stuck in this horrible situation for a while until a vaccine is created. You guys have to adapt to at home exercises. I realize that i can just put notes in for the client but so many need a visual, like a said you must adapt like…

Subbing exercises for similar movements, not every exercise in the library.
When a client hits substitute, they are presented with every exercise in the library. Instead, it would be nice for it to at least be narrowed down to the same muscle group. If a client is scheduled to do a squat, they could be presented with a goblet squat, not pullups/curls/etc...

Allow clients to record the amount of weight they used for an exercise
I don't know if this is a feature already, but I cannot find it. When a client completes a workout with dbs, kbs, bb, or resistance bands, they should have the ability to record how much weight they used for the exercise. I am designing programs and don't see where I can add that field.

Different cable exercise for different attachments
Due to the pandemic, there is an increase in functional trainers which are all pulley based, as well as an increase in at home cable like systems, resistance bands with handles etc. It would be great to see different types of cable attachment workouts like standing row with rope, floor seated close grip pull down, 1 leg up lat pull with cable, rear delt bent over 1 arm reverse flye with cable... cables are amazing and versatile. Other than that this app is amazing!!!!!!!!

Countdown
Allow a countdown/timer in the set when the client starts the workout
For example I sometimes have clients to a mix of timed work and reps and it would be nice if when we enter a time for an exercise that there is an automatic countdown like there is for intervals

Ability to create workout programs with choices
Allow trainers to program workouts that involve choice. For example, Bench Press OR Pushups, Squats or Lunges.

increase distance amount that can be inputed on cardio exercises by clients
Hi
If I schedule a cardio exercise or day as ‘rower’, my clients can input a maximum of 999m rowed. Given some of my clients are training to row across the Atlantic Ocean this isn’t enough. Can this be increased to unlimited? Or have the option to input KM’s? Cheers2 votes -
Higher resolution video Support for exercises Please! 👍
Would be great to have some control over resolution for video uploads and display, atleast 1080p would be nice if not Full 4K. Need to be able to compete with other platforms

Would like to see pregnancy specific exercises
If possible I'd like to see pregnancy specific exercises ... existing exercise database could be updated to show for example: safe in trimester 1, 2 and/or 3

Changing parameters of exercises
We need to be able to change the parameters of the exercises when we put them into a program, such as the Trainerize exercises.

Sort Exercise Library by video type and whether it has a description
Add in a sorting or filter feature to quickly find Custom Exercises that:
- Have no video, have a custom video, or have a linked YouTube video
- Don't have description text
Often I will quickly add exercises from YouTube if it is something that I need for a client's plan but haven't filmed yet (and isn't available in the Trainerize Library). I then go back and fill in these exercises with my own custom videos when I have the time, and it would be nice to be able to sort and find these quickly.
The same applies with Exercise descriptions. Sometimes…

Weekly automated tracking of specific exercise RPE AND automated weight selection
Having a system where you can automate weekly weight selections based on the RPE/effort of the workout.
How this idea came to me is that previously I use Google Sheets as my main source of delivering training programs. For those who are familiar with Sheets/Excel, you can do things like
EXAMPLE: If the client is asked performs goblet squat @ 20lbs @ RPE8,
However, the client did it at RPE6, the google sheet automatically fills in next weeks weight/adds next weeks weight to let's say 30lbs to hit RPE8.Now I know we can o this MANUALLY on the program…

More bodyweight/calisthenics exercises. Particularly isometrics
Planches, levers, l sits holds etc.
The whole bases of bodyweight exercises is that they use progressions to create load.
Knee pushup
Regular pushup
Elevated pushup
Handstand pushup
Etc.Maybe a option for people to share their exercise libraries to join the main pack. With approval of course. For the greater good. So you dont have to film every possible exercise. You could have guidelines on what is acceptable and then open it up to the community. I would share mine.
28 votesHi all,
Thanks for the vote for this idea. We’ve added the push-up progressions to the our to-film list.
If there’s any other exercises, you would like to see, please provide a list of the specific exercises so we can add them to our list.
Thanks!

Comment box to enter reps and weight
Sometimes you want to enter partial reps so being able to write in in the comment box would be easier

Add a "height" field for certain exercises
Add a "height" field for exercises. For example: box squats (height of box used), elevated push ups, and even height of j-cups for barbell/rack exercises.
This also be useful to store seat settings for various machines, like a seated hamstring curl. It's not easy to remember yourself!3 votes -
Training phase with progressions printable
Being able to print a training phase with all the progressions included. Compact but easy to see all weeks over one or two sheets. It could look much like the progression editor.
