Ability to a comment/reply thread to a post in groups
Allow clients or trainers to comment on a post in a group so we don't end up cluttering the main group feed.

Hey - I truly cannot wait for this feature. It is going to make a big difference to my business as I scale. Can you confirm what release this is planned for? If not can you be transparent on the dependencies and blockers? E,g Is it storage costs? I also work in product and would be happy to be a sounding board for any problems you are working through. I am making an assumption that cost may be an issue, given the feature itself is not complex. Perhaps you could set a rule that threads expire after x days.

Is this still happening?

A trillion times yes.
I love Trainerize & the fact that you’re always improving & adding things.
But it’s kinda beyond a joke that the one feature that has the opportunity to help people connect & create thriving communities has literally not seen a single update in all the years I’ve been using the platform.
It’s not a group.
It’s a glorified group chat.Let’s forget about fluffy features like “grocery lists” and get the key features up the priority list (along with letting trainers recommend substitutes instead of the ******** search bar)

Curious if this is something that's being planned to launch soon?

This would help make my groups so much more interactive and clean - please consider this upgrade/improvement. I have clients that choose not to use the groups because it's so cumbersome to follow what reply goes where.

This is critical, it saves having to use outside messaging platforms for community groups. Thread posts in the group/community chat is definitely needed so that you can respond directly to that message in the same chat inside the thread inside of making the group message longer and longer and confusing and hard to keep track of (very unprofessional).
I have had a look through all of the app suggestions here, and you'll find this exact IDEA worded in 100 different ways, therefore it definitely has way more than 215 votes. -

This is an absolute MUST!!!! What is the status on the feature? How has this been in the works for over 2 years? Large group challenges are almost impossible to run in this app due to this. Looking into other apps who have this feature, because I can't keep running group challenges without it.

Why are needed suggestions sitting in the "planned" stage for over a year... we need further updates on expected Beta or release date, as I have to operate my business on other platforms until some of your "planned" features roll out. PLEASE PROVIDE US WITH A DATE FOR DELIVERY ON THIS!

Omg, this would be amazing and have no need for Facebook groups. TZ would be TV all in 1 app. This can't be so hard to do. Please please please. It would enable group accountability Check ins and easy replies.

This was marked "planned" almost two years ago... is there an update on this critically needed feature? Adding threads to the messaging and the ability to add more than a one sentence description when adding/posting a picture to the group would be huge. I, and I believe most other trainers, would love to be able to keep our clients on one platform (for training, nutrition, groups communication, etc), but all I see in the TZ support group are trainers talking about using Facebook groups and other options because the TZ group feature is severely limiting and lacking. This addition would be a huge improvement.

Is this still a priority for Trainerize? We're on the cusp of needing to move our group off the Trainerize platform which would not be ideal. Too many clients have mentioned that they can't engage in the group chat b/c there's too much activity and things get lost too quickly.

This is a must! I had just 4 members in a group chat and it was crazy making having to scroll up and understand who was replying to who. Being able to foster a community is crucial in today’s competitive market and the chat is a game changer, but it is not conducive to productivity or ease of use how it is currently set up. In addition to reply threads, we need to be able to PIN messages to the top and have ANNOUNCEMENT BOARDS where the trainer and keep important messages and not have these lost in the chat. Also having a better way to organize shared files by categories of what’s being shared. Additional emoji options would be great, too.

Is there an update at all as to whether these ideas around groups are being implemented or they are not possible? I.e this one to reply to a thread, along with things like being able to pin a comment so it's seen without scrolling, save links to the side of the group etc? This is my biggest piece of feedback I constantly receive that the group is too overwhelming because you can't keep up with or reply to anything specifically

This would be incredible! I am currently researching into an external group chat app to solve this issue, but a poll with my members dictated they would much rather keep things in trainerize.
Additionally, more advanced filter options within the private inbox would be great. It's very hard to keep up with 1-1 messages in there considering the vast number of auto-messages that are sent to members who don't have 2-Way Messaging enabled

Definitely need this ability in order to utilize it in our group coaching!
