Basic class booking abilities for clients to self-book into classes with timeslots for classes or group training within Trainerize
I need basic class booking where clients can browse class time table for the business and grab a spot directly in Trainerize without needing another gym management app.
I have one membership type that allows access to all class or small group training spots. I also do not need trainer commission payout calculations or salary calculations.
For advanced class booking where you need commissioning or splitting class types by membership etc. , please vote here:

I have several clients that pay individually for training sessions but work together with a partner (not a group fitness class - friend/friend, spouse/spouse, etc). Currently I have to schedule them on the calendar at different times and message them to confirm the "actual" scheduled time.

This needs to get going ASAP this will be easier for both the trainer and the clients for the more it will help the clients to take action for their own class and it's another way for clients to be engaged

This needs to be added ASAP! Currently we need TWO apps and booking systems, and Acuity just isn't designed for this kind of stuff.
The best app I've found is PunchPass, but it's SUPER expensive, not to mention MindBody, GymMaster, and other gym management which is even MORE expensive and not designed for smaller gyms and Personal Trainers.
I would recommend Trainerize to add a class booking feature system like PunchPass, where clients can:
- see the schedule of classes
- see their membership and which classes are included in it
- see which classes/sessions they have scheduled
- get notifications when their sessions are coming up
- buy a once off class pass if their membership does not cover a certain type of class
- buy a 10x pass (or we choose how many sessions we want to give in a package)
- we can choose the type of session, whether it's a group class (with a certain number of people or unlimited people) or a private personal training session.
- Recurring bookings for ongoing PT's.
- Schedule recurring online classes and have option for in person classes too.
- Integration with Zoom so zoom meetings are automatically scheduled
- When clients book a session, they get an automated email that sends them details and the zoom link if it's online.I would pay Trainerize more for a feature like this.
It could just be added to the current system that they have now with the session bookings. They have made a good start with this calendar session booking feature, but for it to be really useable, to replace alternative apps and to save trainers time, it needs to be improved and a core focus of future updates.
I'm very surprised this feature hasn't been voted on more. But I think it's because so many people have resigned to using multiple apps.
Recurring classes are a HUGE thing in the fitness industry and there are so many apps dedicated to doing just this (especially now that Covid has forced so many classes to go online). I've done LOADS of research on finding an app that does both online training and class booking really well and there is NONE out there that does both.
Trainerize is awesome at delivering online training packages, but the class booking sucks.
PTMinder is great with class booking but the online training has much to be desired.
ClassPass and PunchPass are great with class bookings but don't do online training at all.
And soooo many more and more and more popping up every year.Trainerize has a good head start on all of these other PT apps popping up as is in another market to the BIG gym systems. If Trainerize can get this feature working well, I think it will save trainers SO much time and money, AND allow trainers to open up more training options for their clients.

Allow trainer to set availability and reoccurring time slots for both 1on1 appointments and group appointments to be booked into.
Example trainer1 trains people M-F
He does fitness consults,1on1,partner or small group in any of these time slots.
930a
1030a
1130a
130p
330p
430p
530p
630p
So that he's able to fillup his calender, it's made public and whatever type of appointment is booked in first cancels out the others.
So for example. 930a a client books in small group which is for up to 4 people. That time will still remain open for 3 additional people but fitness consult, 1on1 and partner training will no longer be available at that same time.Clients have the ability to book in themselves but admin can do it too.
This feature works really while with the appointy software. -

I teach group fitness classes and would like to be able to create an appointment/event in the calendar so clients can book into the group fitness themselves rather than me inviting/adding them.

This is badly needed. Fully bookable classes. The software is there with the appointment booking so you allow customization of this for owners to put classes on the calendar. We use Glofox. Very straightforward but I don’t want my clients to have to use two apps all the time.

Clients can schedule appointments while trainers can limit how many clients can attend.

Yes! The ability to book in for class time slots would be incredible! I currently pay for a whole other system to only use their class booking as well as Trainerize. This makes it messy for clients and myself and it would be so much more professional straight in TZ

If you had classes I would switch. The idea of 2 software programs is not really an option for a small business owner. Way too messy! It's not even the cost to be honest. I was ready to pay for the 2, but when thinking about financials and bookings all over the place it would be an administrative nightmare.
Let me know when you add this and I will cancel my current sub and switch. -

Class Schedules would be awesome - maybe even multiple locations...
Also the billing would have to be able to sell product on its own... without sending an invoice. -

I would love to get rid of my overpriced class booking software and not have to use two systems to conduct business.

Class attendance
For my gym would be amazing for my community to use trainerize to book into classes such kettlebell, circuits, boot camp etc. The trainer can view attendance and client's can book in and cancel. Please trainerize make this happen.
