We are continually updating your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Ability to reset the weight or number of reps for a particular exercise

    Sometimes errors are made in entering reps or weights and once saved there is no way to go back and edit a historical workout or reset the stats (max rep / weight) of a particular exercise.
    There should be a way to access your workout data in calendar form to find and edit workouts and exercise statistics.

  2. Ability to change/modify daily workout and/or plan for those with chronic pain when the workout is not possible due to limitations

    I would the ability to change my daily workout or plan. People with chronic pain and/or physical limitations like myself may be able to workout but not able to do all workouts or moves within a workout. The ability to change my daily workout when I see the planned workout isn’t something I’m able to do would be great.

  3. Be able to enter text into workout weights and rep fields

    If someone chooses to use resistance bands which typically are
    Colored and can be long or short- that currently can’t be entered in workouts-
    I suggest having a toggle to choose between weights (numeric field only) or resistance bands (allow for text in entry field) so that people can enter types and colors of bands - etc

  4. Provide more name info in notifications

    When I receive notifications from a coach it doesn't say which one, it only says coach. It would be good to see in the actual notification which coach is posting.

  5. Connect with other friends who use Trainerize

    It would be so amazing and helpful if we could connect in the app with friends who also use trainerize so we could see each others workouts and macro goals and provide support and motivation in the app

  6. Get rid of animations when you check a circle

    When i’m in a hurry it can be frustrating to wait for the high-five animations for every completed habit/workout. Could there be an option to turn them off for those that feel motivated without them? Or reserve them for big milestones so they feel more special? I just want to check the circle.

  8. Undo a Deleted workout

    I accidentally hit discard workout when I didn’t really mean to. I’d like to see where you can see deleted workouts and be able to undo if did it on accident.

  10. Manual entry of cycling time, rather than a start stop which I forget about!

    When entering a cycling exercise, the only option is to start and stop the time.
    I would like to be able to just upload an activity with the time and other details instead.

  11. Shorter workout options

    It would be nice to have 20-30 minute options when short on time. The 1-2hour commitment is sometimes overwhelming and deters me from starting a workout.

  14. Keep each meal breakdown per added food

    When you enter each meal, you can swipe left to delete, but I suggest you be able to click on each added meal to see the individual breakdown of carbs,fat, and protien, as well as macros. This gives me a better idea when I look back on entire days to see what specific meals or within each meal I might need to cut back on or portion better.

  17. Ability to link/sync trainerize calendar with other calendar platforms (e.g Google Calendar, IOS, Android calendars etc)

    Ability to link/sync trainerize calendar with other calendar platforms (e.g Google Calendar, IOS, Android calendars etc) so clients can merge this with their current schedules.

    (TeamApp might be a good example of this integration as the once synced with your personal calendar, the calendar updates automatically whenever TeamApp is updated)

  18. Sync other workouts into the app

    I don’t always like to lift weights everyday. Often I will vary my workout routine to include swimming, hiking, cycling or mountain biking. It would be nice to see those workouts synced in from Fitbit or strava show up where one gets “credit” for the workout rather than having to manually enter them. Plus then they don’t show up so it appears like I have barely done any workouts this entire challenge.

  19. Auto and manual option to check off steps

    I would love even if we tick off steps a day late, it won't take the streak back to zero! Either that or fitbit etc automatically syncs steps and checks off itself. Or you can choose to manually check off if you still want to.

  20. Time of appointment reminder

    On the calendar where your workout for the day is posted, it doesn’t remind you of the time you scheduled your appointment . It would be nice to have the time off appointment on there as well.
