No update on this since 2022.....

Google now has "Health Connect" in place that supports syncing to all different Android brands.

So, what are you waiting for?

Is there any update on this? I can't use any bluetooth or smart device at work, so being able to log my steps in the Google Fit app and have them sync to Trainerize would be extremely helpful. As it is there is no clean way for me to track my steps while using the Trainerize app.

Would love for the app to work with Google health at a minimum to track steps

Is this ever gonna be finished? there was a beta version 2 years ago when i started.

This is standard as apple health and should be implemented

Health Connect would allow syncing multiple apps, including Google Fit

Be able to connect to google fit & whoop

Add google fit to track steps for those that have other brand watches .
Or connect steps through myfitness pal, myfitness pal connects to googlefit

First off, thank you for the great work so far with the app. Is there any update on when this feature will be ready?

Seems like Trainerize are not being open about there being a change of priority here. I presume either:
1. The trainerize app does not meet the standards required by Google and its a significant uplift to correct.
2. There is a cost to Trainerize which they do not want to incur despite the fact nearly all clients need and expect this connection to be in place.

Not good enough.

Asking trainer to change to different app. Hopeless.

****, imagine having trainers paying hundreds of dollars to get their logo put in the app and it taking months, then over 2 years of waiting, an extremely basic, essential integration that is easier now with Health Connect API not being implemented. Insanity

2 years later, still not working.

Google fit has integration to Samsung health and many other fitness data trackers, devices and watches. IMO this should be enough to prioritize Google fit before Samsung health. Android users can streamline everything much easier this way.

There's hundreds on smart watch companies now. If google fit is integrated then a wide range of clients can be entertained not just Apple Watch, Withings and Fitbit.

Releasing an Android fitness app without a Google Fit integration is a fundamental problem. It should be table stakes.
